Actually, my congress critter, John Mica (North Florida) is very good and I wanted to visit his offices after the march, but I had to go to Mass and then trek back to Dulles (not an easy trek!) so I never made it. The speeches at the rally were so good I listened for hours!
Maybe Mica was there. I should write to him and ask him.
Odd I did not see him with all of the 75,000 people there.

How was it?
It is hard to put into words. It was a very emotional experience walking down Penn Ave with my 13 yr old daughter next to me. I held back tears at times. I felt so proud to be there.
Everyone I talked to was wonderful. I had an older woman whisper in my ear that she was a Dem but had to do this because she was so mad at what the POTUS and Congress is doing.
I was so impressed by the older ones in wheelchairs and walkers. We are America.
I have bad arthritis in my knees, my friend that I went with kept asking me if I was okay... I told her nothing would stop me from going all the way to the Capitol. Her wonderful sons carried the folding chairs in a bag, I told them not to but boy I am I glad they did!!!!
Today I ordered the C-span dvd for my daughter to keep and to remember what we did.
I would do it again tomorrow.

Made it home fine, thanks. I hate the PA turnpike with a passion. We took the kids sightseeing for a bit on Sunday morning and made it home around 6:30 that evening.

Met so many truly great people...Wilkow, Kaufman and West totally blew my 13 year old son away with how well they articulated the Conservative Movement.
