We sure don't pay Canadians for imaginary peace deals, do we? They never kill anybody. To get paid for a lying promise not to kill people, they first need to kill people.
They've figured it out. They understand that killing is their job and we pay them for it. Our boys in the state department are the slow ones who haven't grokked yet.

IF Israel attacked Iran, it would be very good for the Saudis, (which is who obama owes his allegiance to,) and it would be very bad for us, but good for obama.
It would be very bad for Israel in terms of world recrimination. It would drive up the price of oil, which obama thinks is to his advantage in destroying what is left of OUR Capitalist infrastructure and HE would blame Israel.
Iran would escalate the attacks on Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan and bam would blame Israel.
Israel would come under attack on the ground from Lebanon, Gaza, West Bank, Iranian proxies equipped by Iran and Syria. Iran itself would not fire on Israel.
The US would not lift a finger to help them, the UN would condemn them, and bam thinks he would be killing two birds with one stone. The Israelis would be in the fight of their lives, and the US would be in a state of economic collapse.
BUT, and it is a BIG BUT, Russia, who everyone believes would side with the arabs...will not. Nor will India. Israel does have backup, even though Russia has played the bad cop for a long time.
If not for Russia and the fact that Iran and their satellites trusted them, they would have gone nuclear a long time ago. Putin is a pragmatist. Russia has no need for mideast oil. They stand to gain big time from a shut down of the Straits of Hormuz, but they would NEVER trust Iran with a nuke...or Syria either.
When Israel attacked the nuclear facility in Syria, NONE of the Russian defense systems Syria had just installed worked. What an amazing coincidence.
It is a deliberate strategy. And the State Department went islamist many moons ago.

In keeping with this bad cop role Russia plays, it is also probable that the whole incident involving the “hijacked” Russian ship was an elaborate hoax to make it seem as if Russia was trying to deliver missiles, (already paid for,) to Iran when they actually had no intentions of doing so.
They have done this in different ways over many years. Each time, it has slowed Iran to a crawl.
Remember several years ago when they, (Iran) made their first attempt to begin enriching uranium and the whole thing failed with Russian advisors right there.
Why we give money to any foreign nation is beyond me.
Thanks again MM. Iran has been getting help from North Korea and Pakistan. It’ll be no big shock when the Saudi regime’s nuclear program starts to get some better exposure. It’ll be surprising if the Turks haven’t started some kind of program already, and Egypt is known to have put a toe in the water.

I had lunch (in a group) with a fairly-upper-level State Department person not long ago in social context.
He was perfectly fine until he learned I was also an Israeli citizen -— at which time he became down right belligerant and extremely unfriendly.
It was really telling.
State is extremely anti-Israel. It has been for decades. I empathize completely. But it has also spread beyond the walls of State and infested other federal agencies as well. I have seen it up close and personal myself.
