I suppose they don’t have gallows anymore? Gallows, the chair, firing squad...when in doubt there should be a plan B.

You donate a rope. Or I'll donate...
Problem solved.
To: Responsibility2nd
So do a cut down. Shave his head and find one on his skull. Use his jugular. Instead they’ll probably give him medical treatment for his “condition”.

Is this the guy who went on a non-stop eating binge? Got so fat that they can’t find a vein?
To: Responsibility2nd
Maybe they need a respiratory tech, they are pretty good at it. How about a venous cut down? Sounds like they are just looking for an excuse.

Headline you will never see: ‘Hanging postponed due to rope problems’.

LOL......exactly MY thoughts......I will volunteer.....if I can’t find a vein we can just use drill into the leg and get access....I haven’t used it on a live person yet and I am dying to!

Just keep cutting until you find one. Sometimes it takes a few hours.

Not sure. Probably not. This is the creep in question, however.

Amazingly, Ohio is pretty good with following through with executions. Normally, if we hear on the radio that an execution is scheduled to happen, it happens.
I believe last year, Ohio was the only non-southern state to carry out executions. I'd guess they're going to wrap this thing up pretty soon.
