On a thread yesteday, there was a quote from some article where a minority figure was saying that Joe Wilson's exclamation treated the President like a "boy". I said that this man is old enough but entirely unprepared for the office.

Would you hire Barack Obama as your contractor to build your house, and trust him to handle all of the paperwork, screening and hiring the labor, showing up on site to inspect the work, and bring it all in at or under budget?

Actually, Bush’s comments sound just like those on FR.

We didn’t like Hillary or Obama or McCain, either.

And while many of us, myself included, love Sarah Palin, Bush called it right: they ate her alive. I think she’ll rebound, certainly hope so, but he knew, probably from experience, what an ordeal she was stepping into.
