:)
You have a private mail.
It says a lot about ACORN mentality that it thinks it, an illegally operating entity in Maryland, can sue someone about anything in that state. Of course this is the Age of Onada, so anything is possible.
Glenn Beck had the audio on the radio show. The ACORN lady was talking about shooting her abusive husband and using a prepared alibi documenting his abuse with family services, goading him into attacking her then shooting him. Sounded premeditated to me.
As do you.
Having a valid corporation provides no protection to officers, directors and shareholders against criminal prosecution, but could provide some protection for civil actions (money owed) against the corporation. In other words, if the corporation owes somebody money and the corporation is not properly in existence the officers, directors and shareholders could be sued personally for the debt; however, once the corporation is reinstated - which is easy to do - the protection comes back. As I said earlier, this is much ado about nothing.
Can the AG of Maryland be recalled?
If so, the people of Maryland should recall this worthless shill.
Now, does that make me not-a-racist.
I don't really care.
“Much ado about nothing. I have practiced law in MD for over twenty years. Many corporations inadvertently let their charters lapse, usually by failing to file the annual property tax return. They can file the returns, pay whatever tax is owed and their charter will be reinstated.”
Perhaps. Yet when I checked on the nutty bunch prior to the November election, they seemed to have a significant amount of unpaid taxes in quite a few states. Systemic disregard of tax law. Add that to the long list of RICO charges, IMO.
Time to spray Round-Up on these nutty growths on American society and its decent taxpayers.
Could be, but that's different than the "not licensed to do business in Maryland" angle that was getting everyone excited. They lose their charter for failure to file an annual state property tax statement. In the scheme of things, those taxes are pretty low, probably no more than a thousand or two dollars a year for a small office.
Many corporations fail to file annual property tax returns and lose their charters as a result. Most of them later discover the oversight, get caught up and easily have their charters restated. I wouldn't say it's routine, but it's not at all unusual. Not that I'm defending these scumbags, but there's enough really bad stuff going on that it seems to me this is little more than a distraction.
I love your Breitbart rule, Flyer! Do you want to be our next ruler President, by any chance? ;)
OMG, he’s gorgeous. Move over, Andy Garcia.
I guess he was on Hannity last night and missed it. My friend saw it and said he has incredible integrity and is a great communicator. Glad he's on the team.
Very interesting.
