House Republicans are not content with just curbing ACORN’s relationships with HUD and the Census Bureau. Monday’s Senate vote, he points out, was an amendment to a housing and transportation spending bill that passed the House in July. When it passed the House in the summer, it did not deny ACORN access to federal dollars. Now, with the amended Senate bill being tossed back to the House (and probably headed for a conference committee), House Republicans see an opportunity to broaden their efforts to cut ACORN off from government money.
“There are multiple moving parts now,” the aide says. “There is new pressure on federal agencies other than the Census Bureau, such as the IRS, to severe their relationships with ACORN.”

If ACORN fills a valuable function for the group now holding office and for the support of black radicals nothing will really be done. There will be lots of smoke and drum banging but nothing really effective. In short, wealth transfer.
Somone ought to come up with an ACORN version of Turbo Tax.
1) Enter the amount of income from illegal activities you earned last year.
2) Enter the amount from line 1 that you buried in a tin in your backyard.
3) Subtract line 2 from line 1, this is your Gross Income.
4) Enter the number of underaged, illegal alien prostitutes/sex slaves you are claiming as dependents.

That is good news. the bad part is...why do we have to use the IRS as a last reort to arrest crooks? Aren’t their crimes a bit more than just tax problems? But, with a loser at the helm of the Justice department and likely sympathetic prosecutors (Baltimore) and activitist judges along the way, this is the alternative. Grab a few of those fired ACORN workers and get them to flip. They would certainly do that. Follow the money wherever it leads...
