I am not a lawyer, nor an auditor, but I do believe that non-profits need to disclose their books. Is there a law forcing them to reveal their balance sheets, and allow outsiders to compare with gum't disclosures. The ACORN people are changing their name, but the trail is still warm.
Maybe someone has more on this. All I have is an idea to help stop them cold...

I think I would like to have the books examined after they are closed.
Note: Linked URL is not for anything but posting this vanity. I looked for any info on Non-profit reporting requirements. In WV, we must keep them available for review.
we need a fed audit too
I want them ALL in jail, with the Organizer-in-chief! Maybe there is a use for all of those alleged “camps”
Sorry but it just ain't gonna happen. The Senate passed a quickie feel good amendment to placate the rabble.(us) This amendment means absolutely nothing. It will never get through the House and if it did 0bama would veto it. Besides this amendment names ACORN by name and ACORN is changing it's name so.....................
they are preaching lies to everyone that will not get a thing from healthcare bill....niether will the acorn people...they aready have healthcare...
good way to create jobs!
I am so sick of that statement. WE ALL HAVE HEALTHCARE ALREADY!!! It is difficult for some to pay for it, and it may not include a new liver for all the drunks, but it covers EVERY person seeking care. Why else would a pregnant illegal invader woman hike through a desert to get to an American hospital? They know they will receive the BEST CARE ANYWHERE. Our worst hospitals are better than most in the world elsewhere. It ain't about healthcare. As Rush makes abundantly clear: "Follow the money"!
But, I digress. This is about an audit!
ACORN, or whatever it is going to call itself this week, is a monster. Good luck to any auditor trying to decipher what that organization of criminals has been stealing. ACORN is Obama.
Along with this article, take a long look into some of the non-profits and their officers. You will be amazed.
Then consider the river of money that flows from one non-profit to another.
Then consider who is available out there keeping track.
RICO.
I’ve been informed that the DOD has recently hired 4000 auditors for the defense industry. Why not the same treatment for ACORN and their ilk?
I know, but can we get enough people to push for local audits, with the evidence coming in the news. I don't know about law, but I know about motivation. Since "all politics is local", I will go see for myself today! I hope we can band together to force it. Anything will do, if we can get rid of this scum...
I didn’t see the proof...
yes it is about audit...
My apologies to scum! This crew isn’t even good enough for you!
i did
