Affirmative action fraud Michael Steele is “concerned” about me? Where the h**l was he Saturday?
The Collins Report ^ | September 15, 2009 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

Posted on 09/15/2009 6:07:43 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

Michael Steele your letter to me saying, “.. I’m concerned you’re not taking an active role as a grassroots leader in fighting the Democrats’ socialist schemes..” is the last straw. I was in DC Saturday where were you?

I’m sick of your feckless lack of leadership; I demand you get the hell out of the way.

You’re not the champion of conservatism we need. You’re a timid mouse when we need a snarling lion.

Your absence from our conservative TEA party slapped my face and you have the nerve to be “concerned” about me? You just don’t get it do you sir?

You missed a huge opportunity to bring conservatism roaring back and ready for next year.

We don’t need a Black face to make the media happy, we need a man to stand up and lead. Your kind of failure is contagious and can’t be tolerated. You’re wasting our precious time so GET OUT NOW!

I called you an affirmative action phony in March and demanded you resign and get out of the way. I’m demanding it again. We need leadership from the RNC not an embarrassing buffoon afraid of Democrats and the media. Apparently you think “working” with Obama will get us somewhere. It will get us only misery. Obama’s trying to enslave us, don’t you understand this?

Have you no shame sir? Are you just in this for the paycheck? How would you act differently if you weren’t just marking time for Friday afternoons? I won’t send the RNC another cent until you’re gone. We don’t need a spineless phony leading our party. We needed you there Saturday. You’ve disappointed us once too often: Get out so we can find a real conservative leader.

Republicans weren’t demanding freedom Saturday sir, conservatives were. Learn the difference or resign!

Michael Steele update: I have been told he was hiding in Orlando. He didn't want it to "seem" like the GOP was behind it. Well DUH! Whatever our side does we'll be attacked anyway. The good he could have done by standing with the gathered patriots would have been huge, but he just doesn't get it.

I disagree. I’m glad he wasn’t there. You’re not going to be attracting the independent minded by making this movement look like it’s right out of the Republican playbook. It’s not. I’m mad at a lot of them also. Lets keep in mind that it was under George Bush’s watch that the first bailout passed.

No, lets keep the focus on the message and not get sidetracked by having lefties point out that this is just an organized response from the Republican party. Lets make sure it is known that this is from the American people. The only thing Michael Steele needs to do is to acknowledge it and say I hear you American people and we in the Republican party are willing to listen.

My standard reply to the repubs calling for money:

“If you aren’t calling for Sarah Palin, you aren’t getting my money.”

Or:

“Any money I donate will go directly to Sarah. Thanks.”

I think he would have been booed for the RINO he is.

I was not happy to see any Republican there. It gave the impression that they are trying to ride the coattails.

If you want to kill the movement, just add politicians from either party...then you’re back to square one

Fair enough.

But are you guys wanting to go third party?

Rush Limbaugh, whose opinion I respect, thinks that is a very bad idea. I myself have been heavily leaning third party until I heard Rush’s take on it.

I agree....but none of them even said “We hear!”

Except for a couple of stalwarts like DeMint.

No, I’m not willing to go third party. Thats a loser proposition that ensures the dimocrats get re-elected. However, we have to bend their positions around to America’s way of thinking. By having them co-opt and then take over this movement is not the way to do it. The way to do it is to have the Republican party see what the American people want, become emboldened by it and stand up for our values. They serve us and they can’t do that by leading this movement.

I will say one thing, before Sarah got on the ticket I was seriously considering voting for Bob Barr in last years elections.

Believe me, a lot of the wavering Republicans and Blue Dog Dimocrats are hearing this. That’s why a health care bill has not even come close to passing yet.

Republicans are trying to keep a low profile. I don’t blame their strategy to be honest. They are just as much of baffoons as the dems but they want the outrage to come from the people like the tea parties and the 912 project to do the talking. Not a bunch of hypocrites who are only slightly let socialist than the current group in power.

If they knew anything at all, they would admit they all are weasels and need to redefine themselves as protectors of the constitution and not only loyal opposition but loyal protectors of the people.

The less the republicans talk, the more the mushy middle forgets about their idiotic governing compared to the morons running the show now.

It’s a strategy and I actually support it. In the meantime, we need to work with them to put in REAL supporters of the Constitution to run.

Hey...I agree with you....if the GOP had been on the ball and had been representing us and our values....we wouldn’t have been stuck with all the liberal dems we have in congress right now....not to mention the White House.

I don’t want this outrage tarnished with GOP finger prints.

But are you guys wanting to go third party?

I already did. The nomination of McCain was a crystal-clear statement that the GOP does not want my vote.

Take Back the Party Ping!

We need to support individual candidates, like Sarah Palin, and Joe Wilson, NOT the RNC!

We need the party but we don’t need the RINOs.

Support individual liberty advocates, and kick out the elitISTS.

Understand that this is the REAL ideological struggle.
