The Senate has voted overwhelmingly to strip ACORN of funding in the Transportation/Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill. After ACORN workers were caught on tape in three cities allegedly abetting what they believed was a fraudulent mortgage and sex-trafficking scheme, only seven senators were willing to stand by them:

OMG!! Standing by ACORN as they are EXPOSED for being a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE!!! Hey Corrupt Senators.....you have shown your TRUE COLORS TO THE WORLD. That has to be the DUMBEST 7 Senators that were EVER elected!
Just an amazing coincidence, I'm sure.
I would say Kennedy for one, but you never know.
[Gomer Pyle Mode] Suprise! Surprise! Surprise! [/Gomer Pyle Mode]
Is it an acknowledgment that congress critters now see Obama as a political liability to their own political survival?
And all of them Democrats....what a surprise :^
Oh yeah...the one causing all the concern among democrats fearing she was "too conservative."
I guess they'll rest easy now.
Is this the 8.5 billion dollars from the stimulus package they are supposed to get? Oh, did any Senators vote “Present”? I hear they do that sometimes...
Anyone that really believes that the DemonRATs aren't going to funnel money into the same people under different disguises, are probably delusional. Acorn and it's subsidiaries are paid tools of the DemonRAT corruption machine. Gillibrand
They come up for re-election when??
ACORN will simply become WALNUT or CASHEW or whatever. They’ll fly under the radar screen either way. They are NOT out of the game. The jerks that voted to “de-fund” them will get accolades from their constituents and be voted back in. And the vicious circle continues.
Something truly devastating is fixing to break. Its got to be bad for ACORN’s staunchest defenders to turn tail and run with almost no debate.
Kinda looking that way, isn't it?
Those seven “stay bought”!
He may be a turd, but he’s our turd.
Just sent the turd a nastygram. In about 2 months, I will receive a happy little form email telling me about all the great stuff he’s doing for PA.
Spit.
Actually, I think we can. But it would probably take a Constitutional Convention to do it.

U.S Senate denies funds for poverty group
EXCERPT
ACORN said the Senate’s action was disappointing but would have little impact on its overall operations.
I just sent this along to my cousin who lives in Bloomington. I told her to get out of the Peoples Republic of Illinois and move across the river to Missouri where we at least can carry guns!
