ACORN turns into Community Organizers International and the next day the Senate passes and amendment to free up the funds that were to have gone to the now-defunct ACORN.
I wonder where those funds will be allocated next? Well, they were going to go to “community organizing”, and I hear there is a startup organization trying to get on their feet...

Sounds like a lot more wanted to stand by them but someone suggested that the voters may not look kindly upon supporting child prostitution and they quickly changed their votes. My senators Levin and Stabenow among the vote changers.

Among the non voters were McCain and his little buddy Lindsey but to be fair they were out of town as was Robert Byrd. Not sure about the others.

Have to admit I don’t know the next step on this - Does the House have to similarly vote? Also, by Acorn being defunded, does that include all their various community agitating entities?

Would that be Jerry Nadler? He's the one who purportedly shot down John Conyer's "investigation" of ACORN (quotation marks for the puppet shows the Dems love above all else).

The US Senate voted overwhelmingly to address an issue - and the liberal media has never covered the issue?
It must have been important enough for the Senate to act, and the Senate vote itself is news.
Guess they just “missed” the story, huh?

You've listed six. Who was the seventh?
I've always said that our little turd Bob Casey, Jr. was nothing more than a rubberstamp for ObaMao. This vote proves it.
