I wonder if Ashley Alexandre Dupre ever took out a loan to buy a home or paid her taxes. And if so, would she have used ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now), the nation’s largest grassroots community organization of low--and moderate--income people. Probably not… she was too high end. But not all prosties can say the same.
Today the Post, in an article called "‘Pimp & hooker’ catch B’klyn staff,” scolded ACORN for offering advice—"Don't say that you're a prostitute thing or whatever"—to low-income hookers looking for mortgages and counseling on taxes.
“Rather than reminding the women," the Post said, "that prostitution is dangerous and illegal and advising them to change their careers, counselors at the social-services group shockingly offer suggestions on how they can launder their earnings.” But seriously, do you think they would have listened if the counselor simply said, “You know you shouldn’t be doing it.” Plus, they want to pay taxes for Christ's sake! Has anyone seen our our 11.4-trillion-dollar national debt lately? Get all the hookers paying taxes (and having health insurance, oversight, etc.) and perhaps things will start looking up.

The ‘hooker’ part wasn’t the worst part (which is why they were focusing on it). The human trafficking pedophilia enabling was the worst part.

Huh? The video I saw had ACORN advising them how to commit on tax evasion and fraud. It disgustinly advised them that they could get child tax credits for the under age prostitutes and to report $9,600 in income not $96,000.

What I don’t get, is since the first two were brought out into the open, wouldn’t you figure the two offices that got caught would start putting out the word to their other offices, telling them to be on the lookout for these 2? It boggles the imagination!

If a hooker isn’t savvy enough to figure out an alternate name for her profession and a means to keep it under the radar, she doesn’t deserve any help from the loan officials or tax preparers.
