It doesn’t matter if it’s 2 million or 2 thousand, the real numbers will show up in 2010.

We need to push the media, including Fox, to get the attendance correct at 1.2 to 1.6 million, per the Park Service. That's also consistent with the aerial photos of the Mall AND the feeder streets.

"All of the above tells me that the Left is afraid, very afraid of what’s bearing down on it."

The left isn't afraid, merely stupid. If they actually understood fear, they never would have poked the sleeping bear.

- "You people need to get over yourselves. Your ironically Strangelovian pursuit of a political strategy completely devoid of any basis in tangible reality is destined to produce a phyrric victory, if it produces any victory at all. Good luck with that, and good riddance. My great fear is that your reductionist and (ultimately) nihilist philosophy will win the day, and we will all be stuck with the governance "you" so richly deserve."

Who in the world talks like this?

The reply should be: "Let me guess. You're a faggot? right?"

To your point, the actual number attending is a measure but not the only measure.

We don’t have a count of people that couldn’t attend but would have. We don’t have a count of those who are likely to go back into their communities and inspire others. We don’t have a chart graphing the trendline of more and more people speaking up at Town Halls, Tea Parties, etc.

The Dems are ignoring the reality of an informed and angry population. Winning with a conservative message in 2010 is becoming a reality.

Outstanding!!

Facts are, the angry left is led in large part by bitter faggots. These people hate America more than any single group, which is incredibly ironic given that America is unquestionably the safest place for homosexuals in world history. But regardless, the left has tapped into this anger, much like Hitler tapped into homo anger at the beginning of his ascendancy, putting them in charge of the SA (I think it was the SA) one of his early terror agencies.

Who in the world talks like this?

A self-important leftist who has been indoctrinated in liberal academia earning a college degree his leftist parents paid for.
This holier-than-thou communist has all the markings of someone who has never been in flyover country, has a degree in either poli-sci or women's studies and has never worked a day in his life.
Hell, he probably wrote that while sponging the free wifi at Starbucks.

I’m hoping that this will backfire on the media. This weekend’s march was attended by regular people from all over the country, who know what they saw there and will be able to compare what they saw with what was reported. I’m hoping that the contrast between reality and what was reported will open their eyes and cause them to spread the word among their friends and neighbors and family. It’s one thing to ignore the annual March for Life. I’m hoping it’s a bigger thing to ignore this march.

You can always tell the effectiveness of a campaign by how frothy with rage the Left gets over it. Apparently, the 9/12 march has really gotten under the Left’s skin.

“GREAT IDEA - next protest outside the media offices.”

That reminds me - back in 2000 when I joined FR, we had a rally to support Bush in San Francisco of all places. I’d say a couple hundred turned out. One of the places we went was ABC studios via Market Street. The commies were in a state of disbelief that we had the cajones to protest in THEIR city. Another place we went was the Chronicle building where we were flipped off by Chronicle employees.

You're entirely too close minded. They could very easily be both. :-)

FWIW, I'm thinking "afraid". Look what the left did to Palin...they attack what they fear.

If I was a pol of either party, and I had a million PO-d Conservatives on my front lawn, I'd be a bit concerned, too. Hopefully there are a few congresscritters taking notes on all this. For sure that BO is too arrogant to notice.
