Senate Democrats rushed to insert language into the healthcare bill to require verification of citizenship to receive government healthcare. It wasn't in there Wednesday night when President Barack Obama claimed, erroneously, that his bill ensured illegal aliens would not receive the taxpayer-funded healthcare. Republicans in the House tried to insert language for verification, but Democrats defeated those efforts.
Obama knew this on Wednesday night when he spoke to Congress and the American people. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) knew this, too, when he called the president out on his lie during the speech.

There is no chance, no chance, that illegals would not be covered under any kind of universal health insurance.
First, no one is going to be allowed to check their immigration status.
And second, there is no chance a hospital will be allowed to turn someone away because he is illegal. They will be treated and someone will pay for it.
So whatever language they insert at the moment, in the end they will be covered one way or another.
I supposed O could amnesty them, and in that case no need to cover illegals because they are all, presto, legal.

Leading Dem Says Immigration Reform Is Coming Up Next Before Year’s End
After the Alinsky democrats in Congress and the White House stun the country by ramming through nationalized health care it looks like immigration will be one of the next items on this year’s agenda. Obama promised to reshape America. That’s one promise he’s keeping.
The radical Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) told Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (I.C.I.R.R.) supporters at a press conference in Chicago that soon the democrats will begin work on immigration “reform.” If they haven’t destroyed the economy by Christmas this ought to help.

For 30 years the courts have held that public schools MUST provide equal access to illegal aliens. What are the chances that the courts will decide differently with public healthcare?

IMO the whole point of “health care reform” is to insure that out 20 million++ illegal alien peasants are covered for their health care by the American taxpayer.
Some will lose (currently covered American citizens) and others will gain (illegal alien peasants).
Spreadin’ the wealth around.
I cant get mad at Democrats, They are doing their Communist thing.
What I cannot understand is the Republicans doing nothing.
The last time I heard republicans make any real statement was when Orrin Hatch prayed for the cannonisation of Ted Kennedy.
The plan is to croak the old-timers, who are the type of people who attend tea parties, and replace them in the Democrat coalition with presently illegal aliens who will be put on a fast track to citizenship and voting.
>>> who will be put on a fast track to citizenship and voting. <<<<<
The agenda repeated over and over again by the sociopath United States Congress is “pathway to citizenship.”
I take them at their word.
20 million++ Mexican and Mesoamerican peasants with health care (paid for by the American citizen taxpayer) and the right to vote.
What’s to wonder.
Exactly.
Who needs a bunch of crotchety old farts when they can be killed off and a bunch of eternally grateful foreigners will take their place?
The next wave will be Muslims by the boatload. Just wait and see.
It has already started, with federal subsides, as tens of thousands of ‘Palestinians’ are wafted into this country by the stealth mooselimb in the Oval Office.

A compliant citizenry is the key.
As it has been in all time and in all places throughout history, with the brief exception of the United States of America.
“A republic, if you can keep it.” - B. Franklin, 1787
Saturday, peraps 3-4 million citizens tried to defend their republic in a peaceful fashion.
David Axelrod’s reaction: “Those people aren’t representative of mainstream America.”
They don’t leave us with many options, do they?
In fact, any sort of federal insurance, like the child insurance they just passed, cannot discriminate against anyone. Not even a terrorist's kid.
No options at all I fear, and this will soon become apparent.
