State Democratic Party chief Boyd Richie said Thursday that anti-tax Tea Party participants and those who question President Barack Obama's citizenship are "fools" who get too much media attention.
Richie told national Democrats meeting in Austin that fielding strong candidates is the best way to silence Obama's fiercest critics.

I have long wondered when Texas Hispanics, rank-and-file, are going to realize that the Democratic Party is using them for its own purposes, taking them for granted, and screwing them on a daily basis.

I keep reading it, I keep hearing it, and yet I still can’t believe these people are in such denial.
Either that or they have some assurances from *somewhere* that it just doesn’t matter what we think anymore. That scares me more than anything. To be this bold is stupid (and funny) or they know something we don’t know.
We need to give Richie all the rope he needs to hang himself with. Give him the mic. Let him keep on talkin’ smack.

“NO, it won’t get better unless we DO something! Nothing wrong with praying, but just sitting there, praying, and pretending the rest of the world doesn’t exist is not just irresponsibile, it’s apathetic and just plain WRONG! WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BE APATHETIC! NOT NOW, NOT EVER!”
