Glenn Beck Leader of Republican Party [Editorial]
Right Wing News ^ | Alex Nobles

Posted on 09/13/2009 9:39:04 PM PDT by DecoyJames

As scary as this may sound... Glenn Beck might actually have more power than anybody else representing the republican party. As the republican party seemingly has no leader in their ranks, at least one that can represent the voice of the people. Even though Glenn Beck is an independent, he represents more republicans than the republican party.

I wish I could do something that made the left think I was a racist, so that they would name ME GOP leader for a day.

LOL!

The 'RATS say that Rush Limbaugh is the party leader. I wonder who is leading the GOP right now. I can't figure it out.

It would be great, but Glenn isn’t too impressed with the Republicans, either.

NO....I don’t think so....we ALL (conservatives) LEAD the party....from the wilderness....back to it’s original principles.

I do not want a Republican Party that dictates, from the top, what the rest of us should be doing.

I want a Republican Party that listens to the grass roots, and then acts in such a way to keep the majority of us happy 100% of the time.

We won't agree on EVERYTHING, but the leadership should only “lead” in the methods used to get things done.

We do NOT need to be lead, much, on what we believe!

I'm in no position to place anybody anywhere, in my mind, Rush sit's at the head of the table. He's been the man way too long for me.

**so that they would name ME GOP leader for a day.**

WHY .. they wouldn’t listen to YOU, EITHER!!!

The NEW REPUBLICAN MOTTO seems to be ...”WE’re Above Such THings”

I’ve been inundated with that “slogan” everytime I say “the DEMS have declared War on the GOP, we have to respond as such.

A true leader, after all, is a servant of the people he/she represents, no?

Beck openly says he is a Libertarian. He has a lot of disdain for both the Democratic and Republican Parties as they appear to be today. I would agree he is a “Conservative” but is also a Patriot!

I applaud Glenn Beck for exposing America to the massive corruption of the socialist Obamabots, but I don't like where he is trying to steer America's reaction to the same. And it doesn't help that he always seems like he is on the edge of nervous breakdown. Finally, I didn't like his coverage of the 9/12 Tea Party March on Washington. He mostly focused on his own agenda, and tried to paint the hundreds of thousands of Americans that packed the National Mall as sharing his “pox on both their houses” agenda, rather than letting them speak for themselves. He treats the left and the right as if they are the same, but they are not. The Dems should be slammed for being themselves, whereas the Republicans should be slammed for not behaving like conservatives. But Glenn Beck treats them like they both stand for the same thing, which is both counterproductive and dangerous IMHO.
