Increased regulations undermine competitiveness

Some breathed a sigh of relief that a new health care bill introduced by Sen. Max Baucus does not include government insurance. This solace is premature. The Montana Democrat's bill proposes new regulations that would doom the private insurance industry.

Fines for not having insurance SHOULD doom the Baucus plan. As a matter of fact he should be booted out of office for suggesting them.

The Democrats are too clever by half. Our goal as conservatives must be to overturn the Democrat's control of the House and Senate, starting next fall.

We could be rid of both Pelosi and Reid.
