Obama's congressional address Wednesday drew just 32 million viewers, an audience 39 percent smaller than for his first address to a joint session of Congress in February, which drew 52.4 million viewers.
The speech did pull in seven million more viewers than tuned in for his July 22 news conference, the last time he made a prime-time pitch for a healthcare overhaul, the Associated Press reports.
According to the Los Angeles Times, most people watched Obama's most recent speech on NBC, which averaged 8.16 million viewers for the hour, while ABC had 7.4 million and CBS had 5.63 million.
Fox was the only major network that didn't air the speech, choosing to go with the season premiere of the popular "So You Think You Can Dance." It was the third time this year Fox has taken a pass on a prime-time presidential appearance. Fox News Channel, the company's cable news network, aired the address.

But wait. The White House announced he’s giving another “major speech” on the economy this coming week. I think he is over-exposed. He thinks all he has to do is give a speech and everyone will fall in line behind Dear Leader, so all he does it give speeches. Not much else. How long are the networks going to let him rip them off for big bucks during prime time?
Why the hell should FOX air it on it’s network affiliates if they are showing it on their #1 Cable News Channel? That would have been dumb. Not everyone wants to watch a liar flapping his lips about Communist “healthcare”. FOX gave them somewhere else to go. Good business move by FOX if you ask me.

I think DANCE did win the hour , but I can’t remember where or how to get the numbers.
People are bored with him. It is the same speech over and over and over again. And his voice is bloody annoying.
And isn’t he supposed to be on 60 Minutes tonight? Although I guess that’s already aired in Eastern Time. Probably in California by now as well. Not that I’ll watch it here if he’s on or not on, even if it hasn’t aired yet.

Obummer should simply STFU already. Sheesh...who the h*ll can look or listen to him anymore? It appears that he, Axelrod, Emanuel, Gibbs and the rest of those a-holes are the best thing that ever happened to the Republican party.

So how did he get a bump in the polls if people are tired of seeing and hearing him? I believe his base must have all came back to the fold because he didn’t drop the “public option”: Read that nationalized health care.
