My husband and I took part in one of the most exciting events in Washington DC in our lifetimes. The crowds were huge, spirits were high, people were polite, smiling and pumped up, and overall, the experience was AMAZING!
We are a force to be reckoned with - and this is only the beginning!
Here are my personal photos from the March and Rally......
I'm still pretty stoked about this. I got quoted in the local newspaper (we had an embeded reporter). I should have some pics up soon, but I just got home and I have over 16 gig of images and video to deal with right now.
(There were at least TWO trashcans. :)
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed them.
Good times! We're gonna win this battle!
Bumperoo!
Great pics!
Thanks, roaddog!
Thank you for the pictures. God bless you.
don’t THINK I have.
MUCH THANKS.
“Not a cup, a plate, a piece of paper ANYWHERE.”
I’ll affirm! We lingered with another FReeper on 1st Street, between the Capitol and the Capitol Reflecting Pool. We were there long after the crowds had broken up and, in fact, were there when the MPDC was reopening the road. I looked around and there was not ONE piece of paper on the street, the curbs, sidewalks, anywhere except the big waste baskets along the streets.
I worked for years at 6th & Penn, and can affirm also that it was less messy than a normal tourist season day.
Thanks for the link.
Thank you!
We conservatives are neat people. (At least in public. ;*)
Your photos are not only excellent, they are priceless!
Thank you so much for sharing but also for being there.
5 stars for your photojournalism effort.
You’re a great photographer and a Great American!
I wish I could have taken a hundred more photos, and I'm glad that there were thousands more photographers snapping. Together we got a chronicle of this monumental historical event.
It was just amazing to be a small part of it!
The MSM has called the Tea Party protesters a bunch of loons, yet they ignore these whack jobs that are often seen at lefty protests.
WARNING: Some images are not work safe and are offensive:

Interesting thing about the lefty whackjobs photos many of which are indeed very offensive: nobody is smiling - they look possessed.
And I'm hoping that Thomas Jefferson T-shirt in photo number 12 was being worn by you or someone you know? 'Cause my son wants to buy one and it would be really great if you could tell me where I can get one.
I am so jealous. I had committed to being somewhere this week and could not turn it down. I was heartbroken not to be able to go to D.C. I just got home and it will take me days to catch up with all the news/videos/reports. I’m so glad you got to go. Thanks for all the pics.
