My own observation on the crowd numbers. The area bounded by the Capitol on the east, Constitution Ave on the north, Independence Ave on the south, and 3rd street on the west was packed, with overflow in all directions.
This area is about 2 million square feet in area, after subtracting for the reflecting pool.
Look at the crowd density in the pictures, and tell me if this density spread - over 2 million square feed - is “tens of thousands” of attendees.
If you look, there are some pictures that are a 360 degree panaramic sequence, three in all...
One from west of the reflecting pool, one from just east of the reflecting pool, and one about halfway up the hill toward the stage.
Look for the famous folks.

Our local Fox affiliate had a five second blurb mentioning "some opponents of the president's plan" following a feature on obama working hard to 'help the uninsured'. If you wanna know about it, you have to participate. Yesterday was some of the best participation yet. The harder the collectivists fight it the better it gets.
