I actually think it’s part bias, part innumeracy.

Fox News Live Feed is apparently down, so I’m forced to watch/listen to CNN this morning - and so far they haven’t even given the Rally a mention....

Venus (or was it Serena?) Williams’ John McEnroe impersonation is getting the wall-to-wall treatment....

We’re being trivialized, per SOP

The White House said Friday it was unaware of the rally.

I was watching CNN just now and they did a brief mention of the D.C. rally and then quickly switched to video of a Pro-Obamaca rally in Florida with about 100 people all carrying pre-printed signs....

But as we all know...there is no media bias right?

” try TikiLive.com.... “

Tried it.. Also Blinko, ATDHE, and TVPC...

“No signal” — it’s ‘down’ at the Fox servers, apparently.....

Thanks for the suggestion, though... ;)

“THE MEDIA BIAS IN THIS REPORTING ITSELF IS STUNNING “

My comments at our Canadian sister site, Free Dominion:

http://www.freedominion.com.pa/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1407599#1407599

Well, I’m sure you all realize that the Drive-By Media is as likely to lowball figures for this, as they were to inflate Calypso Louie’s Million Man March— it doesn’t fit their beloved “narrative,” to show a real cross-section of America railing at their “betters” inside the Beltway.

The 2.2 million figure quoted above is nice, but not as relevant as the intensity of the protest. And contrary to the Media Hive’s other narrative, it’s not just Republicans and Angry Old White Men— it’s a little bit of everybody from out in flyover country.

It’s too early to say, but mayhap this will repeat 1994, when backlash against Little Big Fraud caused an election upheaval.

The “comments” at GP have ratcheted up from 136 when I posted to 183 now, so let’s take a look for quotable quips...

“Give me LIBERTY, not DEBT”

“Taxation WITH Representation Ain’t So Hot Either!”

“I thought hard about going to DC, even though we have neither the money nor do I have the time off from work. I didn’t go, but man I wish I was there! Am there in spirit! I did write letters to my Congress slobs again, telling them I had listened to Barry’s crappy speech and am more determined than ever not to have these statist thugs running my health care. Also wrote a note of support to Joe Wilson.”

“Fox showed a video of the port-a-potties being trucked into DC for the Tea Party. They had the names of politicians on them, like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, etc.”

“Of course the MSM presstitutes are going to try to downplay and ridicule this and the Corruptocrats are going to publicly pretend like it didn’t exist.

But I guarantee you they are scared sh*tless right now. They are beginning to grasp the fact that their future shaping up to be pretty much the same as Louis XVI and the French court’s was and they aren’t liking it much.

They have tried every trick in their every trick in the book to try to shut the Tea Party movement down-from using crude sexual slurs to calling people participating in the Tea Parties “domestic terrorists”, racists and Nazis to sending their union/race warrior/”community activist” thugs out to go and intimidate and beat people up. They have tried to organize boycotts against Rush, Beck and Hannity and now they are so desperate they are destroying radio stations transmission towers and transmitters. Now the 0bamamessiah and his White House flunkies are in the “Oh, we didn’t even notice those little people” mode. Nothing has worked to stop it and in fact everything they have done so far has served to toss fuel on the fire.”

There’re more- go & read them...

Due to sloppy or deliberately misleading reporting the parade of port-a-potties in pickup trucks appeared to happen in Washington, DC.

Actually that parade happened in Washington STATE!

Just another example of what really happens in newsrooms. Kind of like the same way 'news' media outlets search out the one or two demonstrators with verboten messages - the word Hitler or the sign of the swastika, and then use those graphics to paint a picture of the entire crowd.

I’ve done the Rolling Thunder/Run To The Wall when it was *only* 300,000 bikes [the majority of them carrying a passenger, as well] and been on the mall with upwards of 450,000 bikers after we got done the ride.

It was NOTHING like that at ALL.

You had ~plenty~ of room to move and breathe and there were “empty” spots on the lawn everywhere.

It was nowhere even close to this level of “shoulder-to-shoulder” capacity.

I’m going with the million+ figures, regardless of what *they* say.

What the Dinosaur Media says about this hardly matters.

The politicians know.

What they DON’T know is that the lack of mention by the OldMedia FRAUDcasters only gets the Tea Partiers MORE fired up!
