There was a killing this morning of a prolife activist who was protesting abortion in front of a high school in Owosso, Michigan.
Locals say that the victim, James Pouillon of Owosso, was well-known in the area for his pro-life activities. He was known as the abortion sign guy" and know for standing on street corners holding up signs with pictures of aborted children.
The 33-year-old man arrested for the murder of James Pouillon has reportedly confessed to the killing and to the killing of a second man who owned a gravel business. There is no known motive yet, though, for the shootings.

???
I’m betting that Mr. Gravel Business was also visible in some manner as an abortion protester, or was mistaken for one who was.
What a minute. ..wrong planet.
And if this was an abortion doctor, the headlines would be reading “Terrorists attack” before a motive was even released....
This man cared about the babies and tried to influence the high schoolers who frequently end up in abortion clinics. I watch them go in and out of our local killing station, even wearing their high school athletic shirts. Jim could have been doing lots of other things with his life, but his goal was to save babies and to help women avoid decisions that would forever plague their lives. He had to carry an oxygen tank with him to help his lungs breathe. He was a threat to no one except for those who cannot handle the truth. May the Lord reward him for the work he did to change this nation back to a culture of life.
Good thing they caught the shooter, hopefully he will spend the rest of his life in prison as will Scott Roeder.
It depends on who was killed first. If Mr. Gravel was killed first, I would imagine that killing was either a business or personal motive. Mr. Pouillon was simply a matter of the shooter figuring “why not”, he’d already crossed the line, he might as well shoot somebody else who annoys him. Of course, he would have to be predisposed against pro-lifers to begin with. The story on this guy is going to be very interesting. Prayers for him and his family. My guess is there’s no relation between the two victims.
I wonder if THIS will fuel more cries from the left for more gun control laws? This is a real paradox for them!
Where is the press on this? When that abortion doctor was shot earlier this year, why the entire world was falling apart because the ‘religious right’ were ‘angry’!! Now that an anti-abortion protester is shot, I hear crickets!
Prayers lifted.
Will we see media outrage? BWAHAHAHAHAHA
29. Explain to me how this death is anything but a good thing. One less reich-wing cretin abusing children and others for his own sick kicks. No loss.
21. Are we supposed to be sad? Because I'm not.
52. So, you think we should be forced to be sad when someone who wishes to enslave women encounters misfortune? Good luck. My feelings are MY OWN, just like my body.
4. It's abhorrent, but maybe Conservatives will learn what its like to fear for their lives too now...
5. Oh, trust me.......they already do.
8. Will this be the "spark" that the nutters have been waiting for? even if it proves out that it wasn't related to the anti-abortion position of one of the victims? Count on it to be mentioned at the 9/12 craptacular tomorrow. The question will be how strongly. Will they have speaker after speaker screaming that "they have taken the gloves off, they are killing our brethren in the streets" or will it just be mentioned in passing.
10. Right. Like anybody ever "kills" those nutjobs. The "prolifers" are the ones who are violent.
(I have to do a virus scan tonight on this computer anyway)
Exactly, every time there is a lockdown at a high school, it is national news--even when the shooting is just in the neighborhood. Yet, I could only find TV stories on this in the local news today. Fox News spent quite a bit of time covering another stupid car chase in California. Hello??!!!! Hopefully, at least the evening Fox commentators will show a bit more courage.
