Google remembers Ghandi, astrology, the first day of spring, Dr. Seuss birthday but nothing about honoring the lives lost and the sacrifice given.
Bunch of shmucks.

If we have to depend on Google to remember 9/11 , what have we become? Who said I depend on them?

They also didn’t think last Memorial Day was worth it. I remember posting comments to the fact they did nothing.

The owners of Google are very liberal. If you want to boycott them on that basis, so be it.
Right now Google is the best search engine and doesn’t seem to discriminate against conservatives in their search results. I will continue using them for the time being. Bing is good but doesn’t have a good news search function. I don’t think it is noticeably better than Google search.

I am shocked they are not touting Van Jones’s “green volunteer day” or whatever the heck they are calling it.

Theyre probably afraid they might offend someone. They usually don't care.

Bing always has a tasteful, attractive even soothing splash page. I switched during the first week Bing was up. I was tired of Google’s frequently offending splash and I didn’t have to endure that any more. It was that easy for me. Great marketing advantage, that.
