WASHINGTON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - As billions of dollars from the economic stimulus plan pour through the U.S. economy, members of Congress, the administration and regulatory agencies are increasingly worried about the risks of fraud.
Earl Devaney told Congress on Thursday the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board he chairs is investigating those who may have misappropriated stimulus money.

Both of these lumberjack pinups voted to confirm Cass Susstein, who believes animals can sue humans, who of course, must provide them with publicly paid counsel. The Senator girls voted to confirm because if animals have legal rights, can idiots like them be far behind?
She only worries about ‘fraud’ when it looks like someone else is getting more than she [Maine] is....
Someone needs to tell Susan that the reason why Porkulus is currently being spent so slowly is so that the bulk of it can be poured into preferred congressional districts leading into the 2010 elections next year.
Before I moved back to Maine I thought these girls were just stupid RINOs. Having been back for a few months I am aghast at how arrogant and destructive they are. Unfortunately Mainers love them.
Economically, Maine has been the white folks' answer to Mississippi since Korea, typically trailing West Virginia in per capita anything. The Democrats have captured the young, the women, and the foolish and made many dependent upon government funds, taxing to death anything and anyone that moves in a productive fashion. The only sector making headway is illegal drugs which pour in from the sea and are transhipped down the East Coast.
Then too, we have been massively invaded by Democrat Party Massholes who like the scenery and demand even more government services. The educational system, once a gem through high school, has been destroyed.
The real New Englanders have been almost completely replaced by tattooed methheads, trendy lesbians and gays anywhere with a view, Massholes rich and poor, strange and wacky illegal aliens from places previously known only in the pages of National Geographic, and the innumerable illegitimate offspring of all of the above.
Looks like hell to me, but bread and butter to Suzie and her cheer-leader crush, Olympia, our Senator and Beauty Queen.
The few remaining true citizens of Maine may have to withdraw to Newfoundland and build forts.
