Lucas Smith, the eBay seller who claims he has an authentic copy of Barack Obama's birth certificate issued in Kenya, flew in from the Dominican Republic to show up Tuesday in U.S. District Judge David Carter's courtroom in Santa Ana, Calif., to testify as a witness in a case challenging the president's eligibility.
Despite evidence that the Kenyan birth certificate touted by Smith may be a forgery, Taitz has decided to advance the document as part of her case to establish that Obama fails to meet the "natural born citizen" requirement specified in Section 1, Article Two of the U.S. Constitution as a qualification to serve as president of the United States.
At the hearing Tuesday, Judge Carter ruled Smith would have to testify at a later date in the proceedings, despite the protestations of plaintiffs' attorney Orly Taitz that Smith's life was in jeopardy.

I’ve always been of the opinion that 0’s grandmother would have know whether or not he was born in Kenya. I’ll take her word for it over 0’s. He’s proven himself a liar several times over. His grandmother was there when he was born, and nothing she has done or said indicates she isn’t in full control of her faculties. Whether or not this document is authentic, time will tell. 0 is hiding something, and his sycophant, state media knows it.

And to get to Orly, you ALSO have to get past the client confidentiality laws of California, where she's barred. California, incidentally, is infamous for having one of the strongest duties of confidentiality in the world - and laws to back it up to protect their attorneys. California lawyers must protect client confidences at "every peril to himself or herself." Until an amendment was passed by the state legislature in 2004, California lawyers were not even permitted to disclose that a client was about to commit murder. |

Sure, Dr. Orly makes mistakes. We all do. But Dr. Orly is no dummy. How many of us could go to a foreign country, learn 5 languages, establish a successful dental practice, a successful real estate business AND pass the California state bar- one of the hardest in the U.S. to pass?
She may be a ‘mail order’ attorney and not a Harvard lawyer, but she IS an attorney with all the rights and privilages of a Harvard lawyer nevertheless!
The point is; she has the passion, the zeal, the courage of her convictions and the love of America and its freedoms (unlike many of our ‘great’ attorneys and ‘patriots’ who criticize her) that will not let her give up!
She is exhausted. She is nervous. She is frustrated. It is reported that she gets by on 4-5 hours of sleep per night, and her family is very worried about her health- as well as her safety.
