President Obama to deliver major speech on the global financial crisis Monday night

WASHINGTON, D.C. (BNO NEWS) -- President Obama will deliver a "major speech" on the global financial crisis on Monday, the White House said on Thursday evening.
The speech comes one year to the day after Lehman Brothers collapsed and precipitated a financial crisis that reverberated across the globe. Obama will deliver the remarks on the crisis at Federal Hall in New York City at midday.
"He will discuss the aggressive steps the Administration has taken to bring the economy back from the brink, the commitment to winding down the government's role in the financial sector and the actions the United States and the global community must take to prevent a crisis like this from ever happening again," a statement from the White House read.

Hey this is a big anniversary day for Obama, I am betting he secretly is celebrating. It will be one year to the day. One year ago the commie-in-chief was 5 to 7 points behind in the polls, with the Wright issues front and center. He was losing and the only thing that saved his pinko ass was the financial crisis. Interestingly, not much has changed, instead of Jeremiah Wright, we have Van Jones and ACORN and we still have the financial crisis.
