About all I have to say about McCain is that the GOP has got to close it’s primaries.

If Republicans can’t bounce this douche-bag out of office next year, something is very, very wrong.

I cannot stand Juan McCain. Are there any people here from AZ who will call this clown up and tell him to shut up. He is a fool.

The Juan McCain Truth File. "I have great respect for Al Gore." John McCain, October 2, 2008 FR Keywords: mccaintruthfile, mcqueeg, mcbama Please tag all relevant threads with the aforementioned keywords. This can be a very high-volume ping list at times. To join the ping list: FReepmail rabscuttle385 with the subject line add mccaintruthfile. (Stop getting pings by sending the subject line drop mccaintruthfile.) Republican Commissars Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless RNC shills who simply want to meet a new overlord. |

I hope he gets a bill. I hope we can sit down together and do the things that all of us agree on.
Has he ever said word one about what in that 1000 pages he might NOT agree on? Anything in there you couldn’t vote for Johnny?

I can’t remember a bigger Republican scoundrel. Hey, I’m only 58.
McCain could rehab Richard Nixon. Sorry Dick, all is forgiven.
BTW, I like your graphic. So true...

I wanted to slap McCain nine ways into Sunday for that stupid grin and thumps up he gave when obama threw him a bone, a TINY bone last night!
I wonder if it is too late for me to ask for my campaign donations to him last year back?

Damn bipartisanship to Hell!!!
As Rush has preached for years, bipartisanship is surrender in today’s Washington. Reagan could do it with the Congress he had back then. Today, DemRats play for keeps, politics as bloodsport, every concession leads to more aggressive tactics, more retreats.
Damn bipartisanship to Hell!!!

At breakfast this morning a couple individuals asked where we'd be at this point had McCain won the presidency. I suggested we may be just as bad off, if not worse.
Congress would likely still be controlled by Democrats. That means any healthcare legislation would likely be from them and be little different than what we have. Add to that the fact that JM's administration would likely be willing to embrace their bills, and would carry more RINO support than we've seen thus far. I doubt there would be anywhere near the GOP disaffection with Democrat policy, as hit-and-miss as it has been, had JM been POTUS.
And that doesn't even address the stimulus or other legislation such as Cash for Clunkers. Does anyone believe we'd be much better off?

Bipartisanship is only an expression of the rhetoric and process of ‘sharing’ the carcass of the US more evenly between the two existing parties. This is unlikely to occur...Ob adminis. has not ‘reached’ out to the Republicans since April....and, certainly not as much as it has ‘reached’ out to Islam. The central banking system of the US is on life support, and, all other issues are an unwelcome distraction from that reality. Expanding insolvent, failing federal health programs exponentially is no answer.
“Zombie, unionized, bureaucratically monitored” MDs will not be looked upon kindly by the public when they are faced with them.
