Proof that one man’s loss is another man’s gain: in the hours following South Carolina’s GOP Rep. Joe Wilson’s “You lie!” outburst during President Barack Obama’s joint address to Congress Wednesday evening, his 2010 Democratic opponent has raised about $100,000 from 3,000 people, according to a spokeswoman for the House Democrats’ campaign operation.
The Democratic grassroots immediately sprang in to action last night to aid Rob Miller, an Iraq War veteran who unsuccessfully challenged Wilson in 2008 and is seeking a rematch next year.
“Defeating the man who yelled ‘liar’ at Obama: Good-bye Rep. Joe Wilson,” states ActBlue, which collects funds from small donors. At around 11:30 p.m. EDT Wednesday, they had raised $16,617 donated by 508 people.

I do wish he would have refused to apologize and state, “I an’t apologize for telling the truth.” Have interviews and show them the TRUTH.

They were saying the Dem raised 3000.00 in 15 minutes.
