Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Democratic leaders are calling on Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) to apologize for heckling President Obama as a liar.
Wilson shouted to the president "you lie" after Obama said illegal immigrants would not benefit from health insurance coverage from the reform bill. Obama glared disgustedly in the direction the remark came from, as did Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Vice President Joe Biden.
House Democratic Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) called Wilson's outburst "embarrassing," while McCain said it was "totally disrespectful" and that there was "no place for it in that setting or any other."
McCain said Wilson "should apologize for it immediately."

We Conservatives need to distance ourselves from RINOS and other corrupt and/or publicly immoral Republicans as much as we can.
The easiest, quickest and cleanest way to do that is with our money and our vote.

McCain is like a crotchety old, senile grandpa who shouts out incoherent things. This is one of those things.
He had his moment in Nov. He needs to retire.
According to the silly rules of decorum Wilson HAD to apologize.

He deserves a medal for giving Pelosi at heart attack.
McCain should appoligize for violating our free speech rights around elections for all these years. The Supreme court is about to overturn his attack on the constitution.
McCain should apologize to conservatives and to the founders for being a POS, RINO, socialist-democrat ass kisser and then wander out into the Arizona desert.
Why of course and he is not lying either---he plans to legalize all of them so they qualify.
It was right to apologize, and Joe did. Obama took the apology. End of story....except for the Left who have raised over $200,000 for his challenger. I’m gonna give Joe a bit of cash on payday. Hope everyone does the same.
Sure Obama lied. Nothing new there. But Wilson shouldn’t have yelled. Apologizing was right. He did. Obama accepted. Should be the end of the story, except that the Left is cashing in on this. They have raised over $200,000 for his challenger.
Hopefully everyone will pony up to Joe’s campaign.
My Response to McCain:
Senator McCain, First of all, thank you for your service to the Greatest Nation God Gave Man! You are a war hero and for that, you deserve our utmost respect. As a Senator, however, you are a ideology who’s time has passed. Please do our great Nation one more service and retire. You have served many years, you deserve it. But further, truly you have become an embarrassment over the last few years. Step aside and allow a young conservative with energy and passion for conservatism take the lead. Our Nation will be better for it, Arizona will be better for it, and the Republican party will be better for it. While I and my peers wish you absolutely the very best, we wish the best for you in retirement. Thank You.
Search his sen. address. He’s a lost cause.
