I'm hoping buyer's remorse on Obama will finally cause a Jewish shift to the right.
One of the most extraordinary features of Barack Obama's victory over John McCain was his capture of 78% of the Jewish vote. To be sure, there was nothing extraordinary about the number itself. Since 1928, the average Jewish vote for the Democrat in presidential elections has been an amazing 75%—far higher than that of any other ethno-religious group.
Yet there were reasons to think that it would be different in 2008. The main one was Israel. Despite some slippage in concern for Israel among American Jews, most of them were still telling pollsters that their votes would be strongly influenced by the positions of the two candidates on the Jewish state. This being the case, Mr. McCain's long history of sympathy with Israel should have given him a distinct advantage over Mr. Obama, whose own history consisted of associating with outright enemies of the Jewish state like the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and the historian Rashid Khalidi.

Why Jews vote for libtards who hate Israel and could care less about what happens to it is baffling. Have you ever heard the moonbats that call Mark Levin and spew their hatred for him and Jews? They make David Duke look normal!

I’ve never understood why so many Jews cuddle up to philosphies and movements likely to shove them into ovens.
I’ve had conversations where it was obvious that they didn’t really understand my yearning for individual liberty.
Maybe their tradition of collective action is just too big an influence to overcome.
In 1928 Al Smith, a Catholic, was the Democrat candidate.
There are many constituents of liberals that I do not understand how they can support liberalism and all that it entails.
First, Catholics. How can a Catholic even consider being a liberal when liberals want universal federally funded unlimited abortions which is both murder and genocide. It is like supporting serial killers.
Second, Jews. Liberals are a lot more willing to throw Israel under the bus in order to get a Palestinian state. Since Palestinians have shown that they do not know or even care how to run a government, control their own extremists, then they are not fit to have a state of their own. But that does not matter to liberals. Liberals only see the plight of the Palestinians and denounce Israel and Israelis every chance they get and try to tell them what they can and cannot do internationally. As long as a liberal resides in the WH, Israel should not listen or obey us. Israel needs to do what they think is right and just for themselves and their own country and its survival.
3. Blacks and minorities but especially blacks. Liberals like to claim they are for the poor but they are in fact elitist who only care about lining their own pockets and telling blacks what they want to hear come election time so that the blacks will vote to reelect them. But if blacks ever thought long and hard about it, they would come to realize that their circumstances do not change under liberalism. It is only under conservatism that raises blacks out of poverty and the ability to enter the middle class by giving them opportunities to improve their conditions, remain in school, get a job and make a living for themselves and their families to prosper. Elitist liberal democrats, even black elitist liberal politicians do not really care about black folks. When will the black population of this country wake up to reality?
The reason the Jews and Blacks vote for liberals is that they are more afraid of the fundies that run the Republican Party.

As a hunted minority, they did develop something of a tendency to see the advantages to group activities, group support/funding, etc.
‘Tis a pity they didn’t really understand that in America the collective will not be good for anyone.
