We should pass Obama's healthcare plan and try it (in one state)

I think we should pass Obamacare and try it in one state only. We should also pass a Republican plan and try it in one state only.

Let's try Obamacare in IL, and Republicare in Missouri. Or we could do it in Michigan and Ohio.

Let's pick two states and try it.

New York, New Jersey or California would be a prime place to try such a plan.

You forgot, we need to try it on all Federal employees, including Congress, in place of their current plan.

If it is good enough for us, it must be good enough for them.

It's already failed in several states. Here's a short list: There could be more, I'm not sure.

And all the other states could have a totally free market. How’s that?

Obama care for every resident of Washinton DC. A trial program of 20 years should do it.

I read a couple weeks ago that it’s failed in something like 16 states.

Massachusetts tried it, maybe they would want to try again.

Tennessee tried it already. A complete, obscenely well-funded debacle.

At the two Townhalls Congressman/Doctor Phil Roe held in East Tennessee which I attended, Doctor Roe explained why the Tennessee plan was doomed from the start. And the federalization of the same sort of foolery will fair no better, except this time it will achieve what the affirmative action demon has in mind, destroying the American economy.

This has been proposed before (I think by 1 of these pundits). It’s a nice idea, actually.

WI, MN could all be on the short list.

I’d hate to suggest my own state, because I live here and my family of late has suffered many ills just this last year (yes, I have chronic digestive diseases, too, top to bottom).

We are very liberal, so it’s a natural. But we are the center of the medical universe, and I’d hate to see them kill our greatest medical centers.

I’ve suggested Vermont before.

It is a relatively homogeneous state and the Pinkos there would love it. If it doesn’t work there (and it won’t), then there isn’t a chance it could work anywhere else in the U.S.
