Arrest warrants have been issued in Miami for 11 people suspected of falsifying information on hundreds of voter registration cards last year. The FBI and state authorities were making arrests Wednesday. The workers being sought were hired to register voters by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. Prosecutors say they were first notified by ACORN about problems with workers in June 2008. Republicans and conservative activists have accused ACORN of fraud in voter registration drives around the country. ACORN officials say the Florida case proves the organization is committed to an honest process. The case involved nearly 900 fraudulent voter cards in the Homestead area.

And is this going to be reported by any outlet other than Fox? Probably not. CNN and the networks will not report on this at all, so once again, only those who read blogs, listen to talk radio and watch Fox will even know about this.
I was wondering the same thing!!
Arrest a few lower level grunts and declare the problem solved.
I hear you, but I don’t get how they (the black workers) reconcile in their minds that the people telling them to “get whitey” are white themselves. Oh well, it doesn’t make a dime’s worth of sense to me, but so be it.
I just want this organization destroyed.
Can you say “Presidential Pardon”?
Or, “Justice Department Drops Charges”?
I knew you could.
That’s true. It’s always the low level consigliere’s who are prosecuted, meanwhile the capo’s continue the operations.
bump
Then every state should do it. Forget the people, go after the organization.
Because of the voter fraud allegations against ACORN across the country, ACORN must be denied participation in the upcoming CENSUS.
That's what I thought. Wonder if ACORN "exposed" these 11 to innoculate the organization for 2010/2012? They might have been already suspect and ACORN is using them one more time. Come the next election they will be quick to tell the world: "We turned in our own people. See how honest we are? Now step aside and let us do our job."
The whole election of 2008 was a fraud.
ACORN didn't get slapped, 11 ACORN workers got slapped and thrown under the bus by ACORN. Nothing to see here folks, move along...
Why is the FBI racist?/s
wouldn’t that be the equivalent of walking in a bank, pulling a gun, saying “hands up everyhone” and then walking out without demanding money?
``This was really some individuals who were trying to defraud their employer.’’ [snip]
“Those arrested are charged with several counts of false swearing in connection with voting or elections and submission of false voter registration information, both third-degree felonies.”
Why would someone earning $8-$10 per hour run the risk of being charged with a third degree felony? It’s not like they were being paid by the piece, per registration obtained. ACORN hiring lowlifes?
Nothing on CNN as of now.....surprise!/s
ACORN has this scam down pat. They hire people who will be considered less than credible in court so any testimony against ACORN itself is seen as suspect.
And that's just in one district. Imagine how many must have been used by felons, illegals, multiple voters, etc. around the country. Multiply 900 times 50 states. That's 45,000 votes right there. Now multiply 900 by the number of districts around the country, and the number would be unbelievable.
No wonder democrats "win" elections. I've always wondered who in their right mind would vote for these fascists. It turns out not that many are actually voting for them after all!
We seriously need voter ID legislation.
“ACORN Turns in Florida Workers on Voter Fraud Charges”
See. ACORN’s a paragon of virtue and anyone who says otherwise is a nutter.
(That’s their story and they’re sticking to it.)
