Yeah, they put out when asked.
Whether they want to or not. Reminds me of the 1970’s book “The Rape of the Taxpayer”
Lee Iacocca was a tax-eater who brought his company from a falling third to a barely above water third, eventually necessitating its sale to Daimler.
Guess this congressional panel didn’t check the UAW’s bank account.
Did anyone really ever believe otherwise? Yes, fools, morons and idiots.
On the bright side think of all the UAW pensions we just shored up. All those union guys who still have jobs and can vote democrat and donate to campaigns.
Yup worked out great.

Yes he also invented the Mini Van, Point here Zero is NO Iacocca he is instead part of the Most Worthless NON Productive element of our society.
He also “greenlighted” the GTO, although it was largely Delorean’s baby.
these GM workers and Chrysler workers, and I use the word “work” hesitantly, will still get their hefty pensions and medical retirement, their severance packages and their sick time paid as a bonus, and yet not one person gave a crap about people like my husband, who’s company just declared bankruptcy, and that was all she wrote...no pension, no medical, no sick pay bonus, no serverance..not even a thankyou....
