The U.S. said on Wednesday that Iran was moving closer to being able to produce a nuclear bomb by stockpiling enriched uranium.
"We have serious concerns that Iran is deliberately attempting, at a minimum, to preserve a nuclear weapons option," U.S. envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Glyn Davies, told a meeting of the U.N. nuclear watchdog's 35-nation governing board.
"Iran is now either very near or in possession already of sufficient low-enriched uranium to produce one nuclear weapon if the decision were made to further enrich it to weapons-grade," Davies said. "(This) moves Iran closer to a dangerous and destabilizing possible breakout capacity."
Iran insists the program is peaceful and aimed at generating electricity. Others contend it is covertly trying to build a bomb.
Britain, France and Germany urged Iran to engage in "meaningful negotiations" aimed at achieving a comprehensive diplomatic solution to the international standoff over its nuclear program.

After that report in 2006 (or 2007?) claiming that Iran had ceased its nuclear weapons programs was released, if Bush would have attacked Iran, Congress would have impeached him and driven him from office.
I agree. This is solely the fault of our democrat party. We’ve watched this clown over there from the start - saying “I’m gonna go nuke!” And the democrats have insisted on ‘dialogue’ and ‘talk’.
Soon, the world will have BIG problems to deal with.
Russia’s fault primarily; they knew what sort of plant they were building for Iran, and did it anyway... Clinton and Bush’s fault because they did nothing. America, Israel, Britain, France and Germany should all destroy the myriad of facilities in a coordinated assault. But folks, it will be bloody for us as well as Iran.

Any way you look at it, if Iran gets hit there will be some very rough times ahead.
But then Saudi Arabia and nearly all the other Mid-East countries would breath a sigh of relief even if they would not say so.
Course we can do nothing and forever be threatened by the crazies who run Iran.
