SNIPPET: "According to ITRR, the latest jihadist communication was unusual in that it was very explicit and open in targeting the Germans, in discussing a coming attack, and in specifying its timing. Aside from Ramadan, which ends 19 September 2009, the upcoming German national election on September 27 has been marked as a "red flag date" by ITRR."
SNIPPET: "German security services have also been cited in local media discussing stepped up jihadist chatter, threats and intelligence warnings aimed at the German state in recent months. Earlier this year, video messages delivered in German by an al-Qaeda fighter going by the name of Abu Talha, purportedly in Afghanistan, called on Germans to convert to Islam and remove their several thousand troops from the Afghan theater. According to a June report by Der Spiegel weekly, American intelligence agencies believe that al-Qaeda's leaders have decided to attack Germany, supposedly assigning the job to al-Qaeda of the Islamic Maghreb (North Africa)."

i just posted something similar. i hadn’t seen your comment. i’ve been thinking for several months that this whole “pirate thing” has been just too weird to be coincidental.
something is definitely up and it involves ports worldwide.
I have read that we’ve been trying to install hull scanners at port entrances that could detect wmds. not sure about europe. but I highly doubt it.
And, since the current ruling clique in DC is actively dismantling our ability to defend against a terror attack, we are left with asking ourselves: "An attack on which population center are we willing to accept?"

SNIPPET: “Intimidation efforts kick into high gear. “Taliban threatens Germany ahead of vote: official,” from Agence France-Presse, September 25:
German authorities have uncovered a new video threatening attacks against the country over its military engagement in Afghanistan ahead of this weekend’s pivotal elections, an official said Friday.”

SNIPPET: “For a week now, rumours have been circulating about a new video message from Osama bin Laden. Journalists with sources deep within the German intelligence apparatus told me that the message was imminent only last week. Now, it seems to have arrived.
The intention is very clear: Bin Laden wants to influence, or at least change the dynamics, of the German elections, which will take place on Sunday.
In the video Bin Laden urges Europeans to withdraw from Muslim land. Germany is not mentioned specifically, but the timing of the release and the German subtitles suggest that the intended audience clearly is the German electorate.”

If and when an attack is made, I doubt whether it will be in Germany proper but at an embassy or other foreign location where large numbers of Germans congregate. Just my guess.
