In the federal lawsuit claiming that Barack Obama cannot legitimately be president, todays hearing in Santa Ana focused not on documents that allegedly prove he was Kenyan-born but on the conflicts of plaintiffs attorney Orly Taitz.
Judge David O. Carter dismissed Taitzs motion to have two of her clients removed from the case and also tossed her motion to have Magistrate Judge Arthur Nakazato removed from the case. Carter said there was no basis in Taitzs complaint that Nakazato was biased against her in an earlier administrative ruling.
Additional, Carter told Taitz that she had no choice but to work with Gary Kreep, the attorney now representing the two clients Taitz wanted removed from the case. Taitz had said she would not work with Kreep because of past conflicts between the two, and because they viewed the case differently.
Carter set tentative dates for other pre-trial matters and said that if the case isnt resolved before then, a trial will begin on Jan. 26.
While it was a rough patch for Taitz this morning, she has her supporters. About 100 backers were on hand in the Santa Ana federal courthouses ninth-floor corridor when she showed up a little after 8 a.m. They offered a round of applause as she made her way to Carters courtroom.
When Carter finally got to her suit at 11 a.m., he started by thanking her for finally get her complaint properly filed, saying the process seems never ending.
Carter repeated said he was eager to get the matter settled.
If President Obama fits the qualifications under the rules of the court, the longer the delay the more credibility it lends to the complaint, he said. If President Obama does not meet the courts requirements, the delay also causes a problem.

And it is a good thing that Taitz must work with Kreep, frankly
At this point I think they should double this Judge’s security detail. Just to be safe... You know.
A lot of pro-Obama fans out there willing to take a hit for their Dear Leader.
That angle is best handled by Donofrio and Apuzzo. I hope they get it to trial.
jeez its a cally court
Good Article.
Couldn't agree more with that. Just stating I agree with it. It's my understanding that Kreep disagrees with the position entirely.
I seem to remember a radio debate, back prior to the election, with him and Donofrio over the issue.
It is a U.S. District Court in Santa Ana, CA and Judge Carter is a fellow Marine Corps Viet Nam combat Veteran who was awarded a Purple Heart as I was.
U got a problem with the judge too? I don't where you live, but there isn't a finer judge in the U.S. District Court.
shezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...FR geniuses

Orly did it right this time...
Even the judge thanked her
LOL
God bless Judge Carter and protect him...
I agree. It was remarkably informative as well as balanced. Surprising, on both counts, in journalism today.
This is actually one of the rare (perhaps only) times when I would have supported cameras in the federal court room.
Yeah, for some reason, the WND article on the very same hearing seemed to leave out some important information.
In the back of my mind, I can not help but wonder if much of the BC issue is not fabricated by the Obots, in order to
confuse the issue or make it look crazy.
Their objective is to make all of us birthers look like fools, when in fact, we want only to see a real birth certificate.
The new circus with Taitz and now the Ebay guy, looks
suspicious to me.
There's a lot of that going around. It's the journalism "flu".
Maybe Ahnold could get the judge a sizable CANG 24hr security detail.
Amen Sister!
A judge that ain't gonna take Obama's nonsense.
And Obama has been delaying the public for a loooooonnnnnng time now.
Hey Obots and FR trolls you know who you are!
Get Obama to show his Hawaiian COLB to the court. It's real thing - right? LoL!
WND is a little more concerned with sensationalism than accuracy ... as in their headline "Shocker ..."
In all honesty, I wasn't shocked a bit, nor do I believe many here were.
The case wasn't dismissed to the dismay of Obots and others here. There will be a motion hearing on the 5th of October, and after that a pre-trail hearing on the 11th of January with a tentative court date 2 weeks later.
Thanks for posting.
I looked and couldn’t find this or anything else on the OC Register website about the hearing today.
Good work.
