Olbermann Wants Dirt on Glenn Beck, Roger Ailes

After Glenn Beck scored a touchdown for the right with the announcement this weekend that Obama's Green Czar Van Jones had resigned, liberal MSNBC host Keith Olbermann came out swinging. In a post made to his Daily Kos blog, Olbermann says he wants readers to help him did up dirt on Beck, as well as Fox News chairman Roger Ailes. Olbermann promised his fans: "Tuesday we will expand this to the television audience and have a dedicated email address to accept leads, tips, contacts on Beck, his radio producer Burguiere, and the chief of his TV enablers, Ailes."

Let's admit it. There are some intelligent liberals who can articulate their political views well. But Olbermann, Matthews, and Maddow are the practitioners of trash TV. They specialize in character assassination, guilt by association, and unsubstantiated rumor. They routinely spout slanderous remarks about people with whom they disagee (Sarah Palin, to cite just one of their favorites) that would be rejected by the worst scandal-sheet street tabloids.

As someone else pointed out in a thread, it’s going to be pretty dan difficult to find anything on Beck that isn’t already public record, since Beck pretty much did the twelve step thing and spilled his guts and hung all his dirty laundry out for all to see when he quit drinking.
