From the first time I saw Barack Obama in the campaign to win his party's nomination, I found him to be arrogant, glib, shallow, and not particularly literate. He also seemed intelligent and supremely confident, absolutely sure of his destiny: he was the One we were waiting for. He would defeat Hillary Clinton, the presumptive nominee? A man about whom most Americans knew so little? Wow!
Now, I know many of you might find Obama quite literate. I don't. While he might not butcher our language as often as George Bush did, I heard him pronounce Orion as Or-ee-on - twice in the same address - and turn "wreak havoc" into wreck havoc. He also once claimed to have visited all 57 states, but hey, a fellow can get a little tired during a campaign, tired enough not to be sure what state he s in. To give the man his due, however, I'll admit he is usually a first-rate reader of teleprompters.
What else do I know about him? Well, he says he was born in Hawaii and points to what that state calls a certification of live birth as proof. Not a birth certificate. A certification of live birth. (Oddly enough, Hawaii calls a birth certificate a certificate of live birth. What the rest of the world calls a certificate of live birth they call a certification of live birth. Who said suffixes don't count?)
What's the difference, you ask, between a birth certificate and a certification of live birth? Well, at the risk of making your eyes cross, here it is. A birth certificate is primary proof. A certification of live birth is secondary proof. With the former your son could play Little League baseball; with the latter he couldn't. Barack Obama has only the latter, yet

I’ve got a simple question: why weren’t there suits challenging Bush 43’s status as a natural born citizen? No, it’s not because the left wasn’t loony and out to get him - they certainly threw everything at him that they ould.
No, the answer is simple: because any such suit would be immediately mooted. Obama, on the other hand, refuses to do that which would moot all the suits against him.
All Obama has to do is release the long-form birth certificate. I don’t know why he doesn’t want to, but that he is desperately trying to keep it secret is abundantly clear.

When do you think we’ll hear something about today’s court appearances?
No rational person with nothing to hide would not have provided a copy of his original birth certificate, or authorized the State of Hawaii to release it. That would end the entire matter. He either is lying about where he was born, or he is a nut case who takes pleasure in generating controversy. Then again, he could well be a nut case who is lying about his place of birth.
Or Obama Sr. is a patsy and not really his pappy.
Dems say all this energy spent on trying to gt odumbo to release something as basic as his original BC only helps the Dems
even some right wingers denounce those who keep up the fight to get to the truth, And there is something about odumbo’s original BC he does not was the country to see

Finally, three big questions, questions I believe should make every thinking American pause for serious reflection.
First, why the big rush to do everything, not giving us or our representatives time to read and discuss huge, life-changing legislation?
Second, what did Obama mean when he said, over a year ago, "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we ve set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded"? Communist regimes have attempted such things, but an American president?
Third, why did Obama say in his inaugural address that he wanted to "remake America"? Note that he did not say he wanted to revive American idealism or return America to her one-time greatness. Michelle Obama said in 2008 that for the first time she was proud of her country. Really? The first time? ) Does he - do they - despise what our country is and has been? Are they ashamed of America? Not of our mistakes, but of our essence?
Of the principles found in the writings of our founding fathers, our Constitution, and our "Declaration of Independence"? If so, no wonder he thinks so highly of Hugo and Fidel. Maybe they're just his kind of people.

Another thing: secrets are hard to keep. Remember when Hawaii officials said they had seen the BC, without saying anything about what it contained? I find it hard to believe they could have kept their mouths shut, one way or another. It's easier to believe they've seen documentation ABOUT the records, but not an actual BC and kept it quiet.

NObama’s birth certificate—or complete lack of a legal one —will do the same thing.

But notice, 0bama can recite the Islamic call to prayer in PERFECT ARABIC. And he calls PACK-istan as PAWkistan. I think that’s the way the Arabs say it.
Whether he is a US Citizen or not, he’s not a NORMAL US Citizen. He has not lived “Americana” with baseball and apple pie. Who are his heros? No Baseball or Football or even Basketball players. His only hero is himself.
0bama is an Ordinary Leftist Politician. He’s not some special person at all. He is just like every other Ordinary Chicago Thug.
(And since he hates being ordinary, I suggest we all remind him of it in our posts so that when someone googles his name, it’ll come up right next to ordinary.)
In fairness, many faculty are auto-didacts outside of their specialties and often mispronounce names. I’ve been to a few conferences where a speaker has been talking about the work of a prominent and still-living scholar who was in fact sitting in the same room, and yet mispronounce the name. On the other hand, it’s kind of hard to imagine getting through college and not hearing Gerta pronounced properly.

I grew up near Ukiah and still visit that area frequently. You are right, conservatives there are pretty rare and seemed to be getting more rare. Glad to see this piece published there.
Where is Ukiah?
More is needed than that. He needs:
**Clarification of his adoption records.
**Possible citizenship in Indonesia.
**What passport did he use for travel as an adult.
**What citizenship did he claim on his college application and scholarship forms.
**Selective service registration records.
** And some claim that he has use more than 2 dozen social security numbers. What's going on with that.
And....Obama, himself, claims that his father was a Kenyan and British citizen which automatically disqualifies Obama as a natural born citizen.
