Under Obamanomics, Hispanics Hit Hardest
Citizen5408 ^ | September 8, 2009 | Greg Contreras

On September 3, Vice President Joe Biden said: "The Recovery Act is doing more, faster and more efficiently and more effectively than most people expected." In July, U.S. President Barack Obama told CNN that his $787 billion stimulus package is "working exactly as we had anticipated…" Well then, perhaps they anticipated driving legal Hispanic immigrants out of the workforce because this group, along with the lesser-educated in general, is very clearly the hardest hit.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) unemployment among (legal or counted) Hispanics in August was 13.0%. That is up 60.5% from August 2008 and 20% since February of this year. But this rate masks the real job losses as a result of the recession. (more)

OBAMAVILLE

Gett’n a head fake,
watchin’ msn’s take;
All of their pundits oozing foul oil.
Clean’n my six gun on my front porch swing.
Felling my blood—
It’s beginnin’ to boil.

Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin’ for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know it’s Obama’s fault.

There’s no rhyme or reason,
They are all commitin’ treason
With nothing to show but a brand new tax or two.
But they are real beauties,
Despotic duties,
how they got passed I haven’t a clue.

Wasted away again in Obamaville,
Searchin’ for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that it’s Bush we should blame,
Now I think,— hell with them it’s Obama’s fault.

I blew out my flip flop,
Stepped on a pop top;
Cut my heel, but I just cruise on back home.
Because no medical care will the doctors render
They say there’s little service I can tender
And there’s no need for me to hang on.

Wasted away again in Obamaville
Searchin’ for a job so I can earn my salt.
Some people claim that Bush is to blame,
But I know, it’s my own damn fault.
Yes, and some people claim that Bush is to blame,
And I know because of my vote it’s my own damn fault

It’s a recession when your neighbor loses his job.
A depression when you lose yours.
And a recovery when Obama loses his.

Then again, I feel really bad for anyone who claims to be anything other than being an AMERICAN.

Actually, frig all the above if they don't want to be Americans first. They can kiss my back side. Let them ALL go back to their crap holes. Got the point, you racists?

That includes you, Mr. Kenyan. Go home and take your Communist travelers with you.

“The Americans are being defeated and not entered Baghdad.” By the way, most hispanics voted for zero so I can’t feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for those of us who didn’t.

Hispanics voted for socialism even knowing from their homelands it is oppression and massive poverty. They came here to work and make it to the middle class and then they vote to kill freedom which kills the middle class - just like their home lands.

They vote Democrat because many get $350 a kid in play money, $600 a month for each baby sitting service in California. Food stamps, free California medical insurance, free section 8 housing all while they work their gray market jobs paying little if any taxes. Don't forget the $15k per Hispanic kid in public school per year for the education only about 5% of their boys ever graduate from.

The Reagan amnesty gave us a load of bad immigrants who got amnesty and the other current illegal also continue to bleed us dry.

Culturally they are somewhat family oriented, but have huge egos, often cheat on their wives and have women on the side. The culture for the most part accepts that.

They are like the Taliban without suicide bombers and a touch of Catholicism thrown in that they hardly follow.

I know of what I speak, my wife was born in Mexico, but she is the gem of her family and of her culture out here. She's here legally, works full time, pays taxes and goes to college now getting A's and a few B's. Most are NOT like her in that regard.

And PS, her mom calls the other day and says things are so bad economically that her life is so bad she wished she had a gun to shoot herself. WELCOME TO DEMOCRAT/OBAMANOMICS. Makes you want to shoot yourself and end it all.

I’m glad you found a keeper! I’m sorry her mom is suffering so much.

Democrats and rinos have worked together to ensnare Hispanic immigrants into the underclass with “free stuff” and they don’t know any better. They come from corrupt nations that offer them no economic opportunity and that don’t give them free stuff. That is the worst of all worlds.

This underclass are totally ignorant - kept that way - about constitutional freedom and economic freedom and how that is the basis of the wealth they come here to secure for themselves. They are also denied education about how this freedom requires ethical and wise decision making in order to thrive.

Our USA problem mostly is the monopoly unions have in government employment. Ban them, reduce government employees and limit in a much greater manner the welfare type of stuff and we will prosper as a nation.

Only the private sector pays the tax bill.

I think if you slowed welfare or section 8, you’d have a bunch of new housing available because slum investors of housing would probably collapse. Section 8 housing is quite the business.

I figure some folks with a few kids are getting the equivalent of 48k in subsidized lives, so why vote for financial responsibility and being responsible for yourself when they figure it will get handed to them?

Biggest mistake was taking welfare type stuff out of charities and churches. There needs to be shame for those who take assistance so they will try and leave assistance.

There is too little shame for these people and they are accustomed to getting wads of cash from a nameless source.

No regret, shame or accountability.
