Ayers to defile Purdue University

William Ayers will appear at Purdue University on September 24th as a panelist about urban schools as part of the first annual Cummings-Perrucci Annual Lecture on Race, Class, and Gender Equality.

Ayers will hit the campus in West Lafayette, Indiana, according to a story in today’s Lafayette Journal & Courier under the curious headline “Ex-radical to attend forum at Purdue.” Ex-radical?

According to the story, some groups are already organizing protests against Ayers and the university. Political Science professor Harry Targ – who was singled out in David Horowitz’s book as one of America’s most dangerous academics – takes his cue from the Obama playbook to downplay the protests and further cloud the murky past, saying it is “foolish” to make a political issue out of the Arers appearance:

Ayers was not a good engineer at all. His poorly designed bomb blew up both his fiance and his homosexual lover when it went off as they attempted to assemble it.

Only reason this bad boy should go to Purdue is to attend a mechanical engineering class or something. Otherwise, he should be stopped at the border with Illinois, arrested, and taken directly to the nearest jail.

I know you know this, but to set the record straight for those who don’t:

Bill Ayers is not an engineer of any kind. In fact, his major was basically el ed, further proof that some of the worst liberals come from the education establishment (another that comes to mind quickly is LBJ). Ayers isn’t even an exceptionally good el ed person...his theories are wacked and he is *real* poorly spoken. It is painful to watch him speak, all the while wondering “WTH is going on in his wacked head?”

Ayers is not fit to darken the door at Purdue, and it just shows that even at a respectable midwestern university there is trash in the corners.

I thank God I’ve never had to pay for my kids to go to one of these commie training camps. And my kids are doing very well without all this brainwashing.
I feel sorry for the parents that paid for their kids education only to find out they were getting brainwashed into the socialist agenda.

You lucked out.My kids are through college. One is a whiney liberal, and the other is getting an education in politics that makes him highly suspicious of Obama.

If I had it to do over again, I would have told them both to serve an enlistment term in the Navy before I would pay a cent towards their education

Nothing ever happens to them because they have a very large network of sympathizers, even people in the national media. If the left apologizes for mass murders like Castro, Mao Tse Tung and Stalin, what do you expect them to do with someone like Ayers. Their only complaint with Ayers is that he didn’t break enough eggs to make the perfect socialist omelet.

I had a son graduate from Purdue...one from Notre Dame and the baby from Indiana....they are ALL very conservative...when I could show them the difference between what they heard in school and reality, they soon recognized the truth...it’s in the family people, not in the school....and my kids are VERY conservative

I went to Purdue, and donated money, looks like I get to stop too. I let them have an ear full about this crap, hopefully more will do the same. I also contacted the University President, and my state representative, and senator.
