In a speech to the AFL-CIO, the president accuses critics and special interests of using scare tactics and spreading 'lies' in healthcare debate.

Reporting from Cincinnati - In a combative Labor Day speech, President Obama said that the healthcare debate had gone on too long and accused opponents of spreading "lies" meant to persuade Americans that his proposed overhaul would cruelly deny care to the elderly.

It needs to be done NOW in order for the illegals to be able to pickup their ObamaCare cards before they begin heading home for the holidays.

People are onto Obama, they do not trust anything he says anymore because everything has been a lie. They read the bill and then they hear Obama say something that is opposite of what the bill says. Notice now the town halls and tea parties are not just about healthcare, it is about not trusting the government because they are finally seeing the radical nightmare half of them elected. There is nothing he can say to turn them around now, I think it is too late for him, but I do fear they do the nuclear option against our wishes. Revolution is coming.

[He] accused opponents of spreading "lies" meant to persuade Americans that his proposed overhaul would cruelly deny care to the elderly

Then why is he proposing removing $500 billion from the bankrupt Medicare program?

Why is it “time to act on healthcare”?

America still has the best healthcare or medical care in the world. Course it’s not cheap. You can thank the lawyers for that.

I doubt if anyone is going to drop dead next week in America because of a so called poor “healthcare” system.

Obammy’s politics are probably going to kill more Americans than our current healthcare system.

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

Take Action! Before it is too late!

....And that is the problem, D.C. has become a sewer full of corruption. This is why we the people are going to have to do, with the help of folks like Glenn Beck and all the talkradio show hosts and sites like FR, ete, have to do what D.C. cannot or will not do, clean D.C. out.

“but I do fear they do the nuclear option against our wishes. “

I’m not sure he will find 50 votes for the nuclear option. That’s really asking alot of congressmen and women that are facing reelection. Why on earth would they want to go down with BO?

He'll surely apologize for the arrogance of America which has caused the normally peaceful and misunderstood religion Islam to feel compelled to lash out at us in their own self defense./s
