MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann is looking for dirt on Fox News' Glenn Beck.
"Find everything you can about Glenn Beck, Stu Burguiere, and Roger Ailes," Olbermann posted on The Daily Kos. (Burguiere produces Beck's radio show; Ailes is the head of Fox News.)

Olbermann's request for fact-finding was a somewhat cheeky reply to Beck's own similarly phrased, ALL-IN-CAPS request, on his Twitter feed, for his followers to dig up some dirt on Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd and Carol Browner, President Barack Obama's nominees to fill the positions of the head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, the Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer of the FCC, and the Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change, respectively.

Olbermann says he'll discuss the matter further on his Tuesday show, during which he'll provide a designated email address for tips.
What do you think? Just more mud-slinging, or is, as Olbermann says in his post, what's good for the goose good for the gander?

It just dawned on me what a good thing this is. One of the huge problems we have now is that when a Dan Rather uses fake documents in a story the rest of the media close ranks behind him. The media are suppose to be competing with each other.
CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, FNC, CNN all should be competing with each other. They should be willing to report the dirt on their competitors rather than try to cover for each other. It is a step in the right direction even if it is MSNBC v. FNC.
With ratings in the toilet......I don’t think Olbermann is in position to go to war against anyone.
Over a guy like Van Jones, Keithie?
This speaks VOLUMES about you.
Keith,
I think you may have bitten off a little more than you can chew. Don’t choke you jerk.
0greman better be careful when talking about Stu Burguiere. There is no way the producer of a radio show is a public figure enough to be defamed w/impunity under NYTimes v. Sullivan. Stu could get a big judgement.
He is desparately trying to jump up his ratings by pairing his name with Beck.
Kinda like the Duchy of Grand Fenwick declaring war on the US.
Keith has how many viewers??
(And how many Kos Kids will participate? BTW how many of them found their way out of Mom’s basement & actually voted last year? 5??)
“Keith Olbermann Declares War on Glenn Beck”
Well, it’s going to be a short war!
Yeah Glenn is really scared of Keith and his 2 member liberal audience. LOL
I sent a tip into Olberman. It stated that Olberman is ugly and a she woman...
Seems like Keith is all wee-weed up. Commies always freak out when exposed.
Looks like Kitty is a walking law suit.
The defamation KOS deals in might work with a public official like Palin, but when you defame a private citizen, albeit a personality, you are looking a big numbers with lots of zeros after them.
Well Gee.
Perhaps we should dig up a whole bunch on Keith whats-his-name too.
Like maybe he’s Barney Frank’s buggering butt-boy.....
Oh wait.......
Looks like someone has a serious case of audience envy.
Olbermaniac trying to suck some TV Audience ratings from Beck ?
Good Luck, Sucker.
