Washington, D.C. - On September 25th there will be a national prayer gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U.S. Capitol Building. They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from mosques all across America. They will gather to pray from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The gathering will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981. The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January and his speech broadcast from Egypt in June that gave them the idea for this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.

I have mixed feelings about this. In America we are free to believe what we want, and certainly to pray whenever we want, but this statement disturbs me:
“The Athan will be chanted on Capitol Hill, echoing off of the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and other great edifices that surround Capitol Hill.”
As a Christian, in a country founded by the TRUE God, it makes me sick to think of the Muslim call to prayer echoing in that place.
Two years ago, I went to the post office to buy stamps. The guy at the counter gave me a bunch of those EID stamps. I just looked at him, asked him for something else. He didn’t say a word, just handed me stamps with the American flag on it.
Never focus on how the minions of the koran could fit in and just get along with others. That is the tar baby, a red herring, propagandist bait.

My thought as well. More and more people are waking up. This will be a wake-up call for even more people. The numbers of Americans who are paying attention - and who are speaking out - is growing with every move obama makes.
He is not my president. I will obey the law, but there is no law that says I have to recognize him as my president.

Believe me, I am also sorry he is my president, but pretending he isn’t doesn’t change a damn thing.
OK, you don’t recognize him as your president. Go write him a threatening letter and learn a painful lesson regarding if he is your president or not.
I hate it, but I am dealing with the fact. I sure as hell didn’t vote for him. I am not to blame for him. I blame the conservative and libertarian idiots who sat out the election or voted third party, for the fact that I am stuck with Obama as president. I hope you weren’t one of them.
