Jones' Resignation Could Embolden Administration Critics

Now that White House green jobs adviser Van Jones has stepped down, Republicans are raising concerns about the administration's reliance on "czars." --

The resignation of White House green jobs adviser Van Jones could ultimately embolden conservatives who are critical of the Obama administration for its reliance on "czars" -- the nickname for special advisers who do not need congressional approval.

Jones resigned late Saturday following mounting criticism over his past statements and associations. The tipping point came when it was discovered that he signed a petition in 2004 supporting the "9/11 truther" movement, which believes the Bush administration may have been complicit in the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

But even before his resignation, critics said the controversy surrounding Jones was indicative of the fundamental problem with the administration's reliance on such advisers.

Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., the first lawmaker to call for Jones' resignation, said Friday that in light of the controversy Obama should suspend the appointment of additional "czars" until Congress has a chance to examine the background and responsibilities of such individuals, as well as determine the constitutionality of such appointments.

I am not celebrating or gloating over Van Jones resignation, I just want the US Constitution restored.
This could be a Dope-a-Rope tactic to fool us and I don't trust them at all, always be on the guard.

If people in the White House who have communist opinions and have hung around with America-hating radicals all their lives have to go, when will we get Obama’s resignation?

I don’t see why it shouldn’t. most of these unconstitutional scumball “Czars”, are un-vettable security wize, un consented to by Congress, leftist, socialist criminals and enemies of free speech.

The union mobster who just got appointed to the NY Fed! He needs exposing! him and all his Union Mobster pals, and all their businessess, need lots of TV exposdsure...weeks and weeks of it!

The Leftist anti free speech, goon that was just appointed “Diversity Czar”, who has been put into position to attack any radio programming that does not toe the DemoLeftie propaganda line, and cut their air time, and fine them the money to keep their soviet style Leftist programs eating up the available air time for all.

That Czar, needs to go bacck to the Soviet rock it crawled out from under..Or to a delousing station.

The Republican Senators have been asleep at the switch big time. If not for Rush, Beck and of Sarah Palin Obama would right now being riding roughsod over the American people.

Fortunately for Sarah, neither Rush nor Beck will be running for public office so she will have the field to herself, especially about encouraging her supporters via her Facebook to listen to Beck as he revealed news of Mark Lloyd, Van Jones and others.

Slightly OT: Olbermann at MSNBC has declared open warfare on Glenn Beck and Fox News. He is asking the KosKids to start looking for anything they can find to hang on Beck.

He wants Beck’s past to be put under a microscope.

BTW: is Olbermann on any NFL telecasts this year? If so, I suggest we contact the NFL and the advertisers until he is removed.

Jones' Resignation Could Embolden Administration Critics

Admin Critics have been in a state of emboldenment since the evening of 11/4/2008, after voting against the 0ne, and knowing the work the lay ahead. The only surprises have been the socialist's and communist's speed... the biggest factor having congress and the misledia on their side. The emboldenment will only grow, as a snowball down an avalanche-prone mountain, as this great nation is right of center and freedom-loving. The Jones' resignation is but a inch high drop down this mountain for the annointed 0ne.

I would like to see it embolden some republican Senators.

Jones is gone , not because one Republican Senator had the courage to pointthe Commie crud oput , but because a Journalist with a pair of balls found the truth and spoke it.

I am so ashamed of my parties politicians I could spit.

Good questions. The other day someone said their salary was $172,000 and that they had 10 assistants. Don't know if that is true, but it seems likely. There used to be a maximun amount that a federal employee could be paid. I wonder if that is $172,000 now. Someone needs to file a freedom of information suit.
