[Former Democratic Party Chairman Howard] Dean: Jones' Resignation a 'Loss for the Country'
FOXNEWS.com ^ | September 06, 2009 | FOXNEWS.com

The outspoken Democrat and former presidential candidate vigorously defended Jones, who resigned in the wake of criticism over his past statements and associations -- including his past support for a group that believes the Bush administration may have been involved in the Sept. 11 attacks.

"I think he was brought down," Dean told "FOX News Sunday," saying he just spoke to Jones. "I think it's a loss for the country."

Dean pointed to Jones' credentials as a Yale Law School graduate and best-selling author.

Though Jones signed a 2004 statement calling for an investigation into possible Bush administration involvement in the Sept. 11 attacks, Dean said Jones didn't realize what he was signing at the time.

"I don't think he really thinks the government had anything to do with causing 9/11," he said.

But 911Truth.org spokesman Mike Berger, whose group sponsored the statement, earlier told FOX News that Jones knew what he was signing.

Republicans swiftly called for Jones' resignation following the discovery that he signed the petition.

Yeah. If Jones is so valuable and such a loss to the administration, then he’s just a lowdown quitter.

>>>> Obama throws a Communist under the bus..... He’s just down for Obama! <<<<<

Congrats. This Jones fracas has taught many folks that essential and core truth about Zer0: it’s all about him, and no one else.

I posted this about Jones’ imminent demise on Friday:

>>> Van Jones that sound you hear is the bus coming. <<<<

If the hubbub over Jones gets too noisy and bothersome in the next couple days, Zer0 will most certainly kick him under the wheels without a second thought.

It may be a loss for Howie’s “country” but it’s a huge win for America.

Jone’s resignation is a loss for the country...if that country is North Korea or Cuba.

Saw some Dems screaming last night that Van jones was a ‘genius’ and we’ve ‘lost one of the greatest minds in the administration’ by ‘smearing’ him.
If using his own words against him is a smear, then full steam ahead, it isn’t defamation if it is true.
And as far as his supposed genius goes, he has nothing to show for it.

I think he was brought down," Dean told "FOX News Sunday,"
Hmmmm ...by quoting his previous statements/positions?
...by posting videos of his speeches?
...by showing evidence of his signature on petitions?

Me thinks Van Jones was hoist upon his own petard!!!

Yes, Howlin' Howie. Jones was indeed brought down by his own words and deeds, as embarrassingly stupid as all that must now appear to you in retrospect.

"I think it's a loss for the country."

Well, it's a loss for Dumbo Van Jones and Bumbling Barry Soetoro, anyway.

Say, Howie...can't you find any "czars" who aren't stupid and who don't suck?

For once, Dean is right. It would have been better to see Jones stay and try to explain all this away, since each day brought wackier and more damaging stories about him.

Fortunately, I don’t see a lack of extremists for Mr. Beck to expose that are still openly working in this administration.

"I think he was brought down," Dean told "FOX News Sunday," saying he just spoke to Jones. "I think it's a loss for the country."

Textbook liberal/socialist-speak. It is never the fault of the poor liberal that he/she made some idiotic choices. Noooo... It is always someone else's fault. Jones isn't a flake and a radical left whack-job. No, he was "brought down" it must be someone else, maybe that vast right-wing conspiracy...? {snort} A conspiracy to do what, bring light, truth, justice, and practical common-sense to a limited government? Ok, yeah, I'm part of that "conspiracy" then...

Dean pointed to Jones' credentials as a Yale Law School graduate and best-selling author.

Actions speak far louder than words. Actual work(s) speak far louder than credentials. Every really bad decision in history has been made by someone with "credentials." You have to be in a position of significance in order to make a memorably bad decision. Generally, incompetent boobs are not put into positions of authority. (obama's election being the exception that proves the rule)

Though Jones signed a 2004 statement calling for an investigation into possible Bush administration involvement in the Sept. 11 attacks, Dean said Jones didn't realize what he was signing at the time.

"I don't think he really thinks the government had anything to do with causing 9/11," he said.

Then Jones is a complete fool and reckless idiot. Either way, he doesn't belong in a job with any real responsibility. I wouldn't even let him run the cash register at a retail store.

As I predicted. “He missigned”.

Yet did not Van Jones recently state..that he did nor read and was not aware of what was on the 'truthers' petition (which he SIGNED)? Not too astute for a Yale Law School graduate!!!
