How Van Jones Happened and What We Need to Do Next

Now that Jones has resigned, we need to follow through with two critical policy victories. First, stop cap-and-trade, which could send these groups trillions, and second repeal the unspent portion of the stimulus bill, which stands to give them billions.

The Van Jones affair could be an important turning point in the Obama administration if we use it as a window to understand the structure of the left and to stop the huge power-grab now taking place in the name of green jobs. It's also one of the most significant things I've ever had the honor of being involved in. Here's how, from my perspective, it happened and what it means.

I was an unlikely Van Jones expert. It started July 9, when "FOX & Friends" asked me if I'd come on the show the morning of July 10 to explain what "green jobs" are. It meant an early morning the next day, but I was glad to do it, because exposing the green jobs scam is critical to fight cap-and-trade, my top legislative priority for the year. The producer asked me if I knew anything about green jobs "czar" Van Jones. I didn't but said I would find out.

I e-mailed a friend who follows the green groups and he said he thought Jones was socialist. -- I doubt he had any idea how deep it went. A couple Web searches later, I couldn't believe what I found in an article from the alternative San Francisco newspaper the East Bay Express. The man was a self-professed communist, with ties to ACORN and a radical Maoist group called STORM. His real name was Anthony, with "Van" made up in college because he thought everyone cool has a one-syllable name.

Conservatives need to adopt the following talking points for whenever they appear on NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC and continually ask the interviewers (and don't let up!):

*Why aren't you covering the FACT that Van Jones AND Mark Lloyd are communists, as well as other Czars Obama has appointed to 'advise' him?

**Do you realize that conservatives and mainstream Americans will not tolerate the back door plan and tactics the FCC intends to implement that will eliminate conservative programming/speech, in the name of "diversity"?

***And do you realize that there is a zero tolerance with your 'news' bias, which is also clearly evidenced in your refusal to air thought provoking ads critical of Obama's health care plan?

****Does it not matter to you that your news organization is losing all credibility due to your leftist bias?

Keep in mind, the evil left CANNOT OPERATE IN THE LIGHT OF DAY. Exposure is the only way to defeat them. We need to use the tool they invented - talking points - to expose and make THEM conform!

We need to take note of what was done to Van Jones and do it to the next guy (Mark Lloyd) and then the next guy (Cass Sunstein) and the next guy...

Jones was taken down by Alinsky rule number 13: ‘Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.’ That’s exactly what Glenn Beck did to Jones.

Two days later, the stakes got higher when another Jones-founded organization, Color of Change, called for a boycott of the Beck show. Amazingly, many in the mainstream media would report the fiction that Beck's coverage of Jones was retaliation for the boycott, even though coverage of Jones started first.

Wow, I knew there was a commie backed effort to boycott Beck but didn't realize that Jones was connected to it.

Hopefully this will start to unravel the whole Obama/Radical Left/Union coalition. Obama is funding the virulent anti-American movement through stimulus pork and eventually (he popes) through cap-and-trade. In return they attack Obama's critics.

Meanwhile Obama pretends to be above the fray.

Here's a clue to get you started. Quit calling it "cap and trade" or any other BS euphemism, and call it for what it is--a massive energy tax that will slam every single household in America.

Obama has been surrounded by communists his entire life; from his high chair days to the present where he gathers communists to be with him in the nation’s Oval Office.

Communism is incompatible with the U.S. Constitution. Not surprisingly, Obama is on record as stating the U.S. Constitution is fundamentally flawed.

How is it possible to doubt he is what he is and call him a mere socialist as some Republicans are presently doing?

How can anyone doubt parents who are very concerned about Obama holding their young, impressionable school-aged children as a captive audience while he shares his views with them.

Obama's pal Van Jones, the Green Czar, has been caught on videotape showing the world who and what he is. So he's done. Dead. In fact, they've got him on the funeral home table, prepping his White House career for burial.

So just as the Obama gang likes to keep us twirling by throwing stuff at us in rapid fire mode, we will not let up either on exposing the radical associations our "president" has assembled around him.

Here's the next White House-connected radical in a line of many who is about to flat line. We're preparing the formaldehyde mixture as we speak for Jeff Jones, co-founder of the Weather Underground. He's a domestic terrorist with deep connections to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Oh yeah, Jeff Jones -- an interesting character, founder of the Weather Underground terrorist organization with Bill Ayers. Both of them were involved in domestic terrorist activities, and later shared a high leadership position with the Weather Bureau, which was modeled on the Politburo. From Aaron Klein at World Net Daily via Catholic Online:

... was a leading anti-war activist and terrorist group founder who spent time on the run from law enforcement agencies while his group carried out a series of bombings of U.S. government buildings.

Jeff Jones joined the Students for a Democratic Society, or SDS, from which the Weathermen splintered in the fall of 1965. Two years later, he became the SDS's New York City regional director, a position in which he participated in nearly all of the group's major protests until 1969, including the 1968 Columbia University protests and the violent riots that same year at the Democratic National Convention.

In 1969, Jeff Jones founded the Weathermen with terrorists Bill Ayers and Mark Rudd when the three signed an infamous statement calling for a revolution against the American government inside and outside the country to fight and defeat what the group called U.S. imperialism. President Obama came under fire for his longtime, extensive association with Ayers.

Jeff Jones was a main leader and orchestrator of what became known as the Days of Rage, a series of violent riots in Chicago organized by the Weathermen. The culmination of the riots came when he gave a signal for rowdy protestors to target a hotel that was the home of a local judge presiding over a trial of anti-war activists.

Jeff Jones went underground after he failed to appear for a March 1970 court date to face charges of "crossing state lines to foment a riot and conspiring to do so." He moved to San Francisco with Ayers' wife, Bernardine Dorhn. That year, at least one bombing claimed by the Weathermen went off in Jones' locale at the Presidio Army base.

Jones' Weathermen would take credit for multiple bombings of U.S. government buildings, including attacks against the U.S. Capitol March 1, 1971; the Pentagon May 19, 1972, and a 1975 bombing of the State Department building.

Jones was on the run, hiding from the law for about a decade, and was finally arrested in 1981.

Glenn Beck tells us more about Jeff Jones, a communist who is involved with the Apollo Project, the organization that wrote the stimulus bill. (And you thought it was Congress that wrote it?) Jones was appointed to a panel by NY Governor Patterson, and has his finger in several organizations that advise others how to get money from the stimulus bill.

Jeff Jones, Bill Ayers, Rashid Kalidi, Van Jones -- all tied directly to Obama and his wife.

Why is this radical so close to the President? Does the president know of this character's unsavory terrorist past?

Who vetted him? Who would let such a communist criminal in close proximity to the President? The Secret Service? The FBI?

The co-founder of the Weather Underground -- this guy is a domestic terrorist and he's well-connected to the White House.

Isn't it more than a bit strange that Obama and his wife are connected to all of these radicals like Jeff Jones, Bill Ayers, his wife Bernadine Dorhn (who worked with Michelle), and many others?

Keep rushing them with this, keep the Cloward-Piven orchestrated crisis type pressure on, keep exposing these commie rats who work in the Obama White House. Keep doing the job the lamestream media will not do.

And when we're done with Jones, let's talk about Mark Lloyd, the FCC Diversity Czar who thinks Hugo Chavez' revolution is a wonderful thing. And wants to shut down and censor our media the way Chavez did to implement his regime.

Once again, we are The New Media, doing the job the mainstream media won't....

Attacking these fanatics in the past has been unproductive. Today, with a Marxist in the White House, there is an increased awareness that this plague can destroy our nation.
