Once Glenn Beck brought Van Jones to light, the Internet started looking into him. FOX news was the only major media even reporting on Jones. Free Republic and their learned participants added fuel to the fire of knowledge.

The Old Media did not mention this story at all. There was a thread yesterday that posted zeros for all the networks other than Fox and the NYSlimes. The WashPost did one story.
This was done COMPLETELY by the New Media.
I just looked for that in the debate transcripts. Have you found it?
Thanks, if you saw it and it seemed to be a “debate” I’ll go through the transcripts again. I did a search on both “surround” and “judge”, but I may have missed it.
It really doesn’t matter that much in the long run, since most everyone believes “A man may be known by the company he keeps” - nevertheless, it would be helpful to find a transcript or a video of Dear Leader saying it - if not for this, for future political ads. I’m bugged that I’ve not been able to locate a single instance, but see lots of people claiming that he said it many times during the campaign.
