After a summer of health care battles and sliding approval ratings for President Obama, the White House is facing a troubling new trend: The voters losing faith in the president are the ones he had worked hardest to attract.
New surveys show steep declines in Obama's approval ratings among whites--including Democrats and independents--who were crucial elements of the diverse coalition that helped elect the country's first black president.
Among white Democrats, Obama's job approval rating has dropped 11 points since his 100-days mark in April, according to surveys by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. It has dropped by nine points among white independents and whites over 50, and by 12 points among white women--all voter groups that will be targeted by both parties for support in next year's mid-term elections.
"While Obama has a lock on African-Americans, his support among white voters seems to be almost in a free-fall," said veteran Republican pollster Neil Newhouse.

My sentiments exactly. If this was a racist country, he would not have been elected. Instead, misguided white people voted for him not because they understood or supported his policies, but to bend over backward to prove they were not racist.

Black people are just plain people to me. They need to be held accountable for their actions just like everybody else.
Percentage of black voters voting for Obama. For their loyalty some of them get bus rides to town hall meetings as long as they hold up signs, vigorously oppose anyone opposing Obama and/or the healthcare plan.
Skin color (white bashing) is a predominant theme for black bigots. So much for the concept of equality - these people NEVER envision that almost half of all whites voting, voted for Obama. It appears from the tirades of Van Jones, oppression of white people is part of the hope and change aspiration.
And for whom does the "elitist white media" work? You're saying, if I understand you correctly, that Obama is being used by whites to fool blacks (i.e. to fool them into voting for him, for example...).
