The Tea Party Express rolled into Little Rock, Arkansas for a rally 9/4/2009. If it’s a new event to the reader, the Tea Party Express left California to arrive in Washington, DC for the huge 9-12 March. There is even a journey blog at the Tea Party Express
It’s an inspirational event with entertainment too. If you get an opportunity - see the buses, meet the team, and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s a great deal to be said for a safe, fun, Patriotic event with flair - where even children can see real Patriotism in action. All us Rednecks in East Texas were tickled pink to have you guys add Mt. Vernon to your schedule! Even we were surprised by the crowd’s size. Too bad Jim Thompson’s Freeper RV was running behind and didn’t make the Whistle Stop.
You are right, this thing is catching on fire. Wish could be with you all at the 100,000 crowd Tea Party in WV and onto DC.

The caravan arrived at the East Memphis rendezvous point last night about 11:30 PM (90 minutes late) but the crowd was LOUD, LARGE, and ENTHUSIASTIC!
We had a great time greeting the travelers, waving back to the cars passing by that were blinking and honking support for us, and talking to the folks there from Memphis and other places in the region that came to add their support for the TEA party.
The singers’ voices were a little rough - this was their 5th stop of the day - but we heard some great songs, including some written just for the cause. I hope you all get a chance to hear these, as well. They announced that some will be heard on the Huckabee show very soon.
LET’S TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!!!

Don't get me wrong -- that is great and all -- but these people need to realize it is time to quit honking and park those cars and join the patriots doing the heavy lifting. Enough with the passive support -- JOIN IN!
