Just as the U.N. General Assembly is due to meet later this month to consider what to do about Iran's insistence on enriching uranium as part of its nuclear development program, Tehran has announced that it is open to further discussions on the issue, but it will not be pressured to meet any September deadline.
"No one can impose sanctions on Iran anymore," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said at a recent press conference.
"The Iranian nation favors interaction and dialogue but will not surrender to pressure," according to Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi.

Where is the "Sharp Shooter" in the "Clear and Present Danger" film role when we really need him? He could dress up to look like a rock and do the needed job.

September deadline?
The deadline is in March. Didn’t we tell you? We had to push it back because we couldn’t begin to enforce the sanctions till then.
Sorry for the confusion.

That still would not solve the nuclear problem.

It will take a nuke to solve a nuke problem. No one has the balls to do it any longer.

agreed. even if an Israeli airstrike would be a 100% success (which is far away from guaranteed) it would only
“buy” them more time because next time they may just
build it in a mountain.

The communist president obamanation hates Israel and a free America as his love of the ousted communist president of Honduras shows.
He will not give support to Israel and they must do it for themselves lest the Samson option become necessary.

Why is Ahmanutjob so sure Iran cannot be pressured anymore? What might prompt him to feel that way?

maybe the fact that the EU tries to suck out the last drop of oil from his country? and there for will put no embargo on Iran no matter what they do?

We also know that when Israel strikes Hezbollah is going to be unleashed upon the US, Canada, and Europe. This is isn't going to be done painlessly.

Or would that the be catalyst for the people to throw out the ruling mullahs? Iran has plenty of problems on its own to take it down. It could have already happened if Obama actually supported the election protesters.

It's strange, the delay -- I mean, it's not as if Obama bowed to the President of Iran, or swapped reading lists with him.

We know from data of the International Atomic Energy Agency that Iran has already enriched uranium in sufficient quantities.
They have basically the feedstock for making military grade uranium sufficient for two atomic bombs.

i doubt this because (while it´s true that Iran has many internal problems) i think an attack from a foreign country would unite the people more behind their “leaders” than it would divide them. and for the US government supporting the
protestors. i think especially the US had to act very carefully on this because the people in Iran are well aware of the role of the US when the CIA overthrow their government. So US support for the protestors would have maybe done more harm then good in Iran.

true. there is a “good” chance that the whole middle east
is going up in flames if Iran is attacked by Israel. and our
troops would be in the middle of this because Iran also borders Iraq and Afghanistan. this could really turn out painful for the “west”.
To: Jonny foreigner
I agree. That's why I have been urging Israel to strike for the last 4 years. The longer the wait, the greater the pain.

No, Iran is not going to strike Israel. This is more sensationalism from World Nut Daily.
Iran knows if they nuked Tel Aviv Israel would nuke them back and it’d be all over for the regime. As evil and loony as the mullahs are, they want to stay in power.
Iran’s nuclear program is a bargaining chip to be used to extract benefits such as control of oil flow, higher oil prices, and regional dominance. It is also so that Russia can have a nuclear-armed proxy in the Middle East, thus securing their key to the oil & resources there and around the Caspian Sea.
If Iran were to threaten anyone it would be the oil-rich Arab states, not Israel. Israel’s got no oil. The “Israel is evil” rants from Nutjob are to appeal to the Arab world in hopes that they’d sympathize with him and share their oil willingly.

When Israel strikes Iran it better destroy, not only the nuclear sites, but all of Iran's military might. Israel must also destroy Hizbullah, Hamas, Syria and all the evil in the Middle East.
I can picture the scene from the God Father where Don Michael is in church while all of his enemies ,the evil Dons are summarily executed. I hope Israel and Netanyahu can do the same with the same devastating results?
God Bless Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli Military Personnel!!!
