WHEN, are we going to hear a high level Republican lawmaker come out and say HE IS GOING TO SEND A CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRY LETTER OR F.O.I.A. REQUEST OR BRING IT BEFORE CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE AFTER SUMMER RECESS IS OVER??
To me, the Republican Party seems largely silent on this. We need them to crap or get off the pot. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
We need to be setting specific dates by which we will have specific acts of accountability taken and responses/clarifications provided, by our elected Government, and if these are not taken in a satisfactory manner, then we ramp this up to the next level. They are playing a 'wait us out, wear us down' approach to keep Jones in office. Their strategy could work. We need to sharpen our spears more, I think, after several weeks of this and no action anywhere. I just dont know what that next action could be.

My take on Obama and Jones is this.
Sure, Obama knows about Jones radicalism, and is comfortable with it. In fact, Obama may be using Jones as a big, fat middle finger to the right. In the McCarthy hearings in 1950’s, witnesses were asked “are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?” Now, in 2009, Obama knowingly appoints a Communist to a high level White House position, and laughs: “What are you gonna do about it?” Which is a good question.
If Van Jones survives this, the qualifications bar for White House appointees will have forever been lowered. Even if he doesn’t survive, it’s STILL been lowered just by the act of appointment. That’s a big deal.
